I had a really disappointing experience here. When I walked in, I saw the owner organizing some bags and wanted to take a look. She told me I couldn’t buy them that day and would have to pick them up tomorrow, but the explanation wasn’t very clear, so I was confused.
While I was looking at the bags, she got mad and told me I was in her way. She then called me rude for no reason, even though I was just looking. A few minutes later, she kicked me out of the store.
The whole interaction felt unnecessary and unprofessional. I understand employees can be busy, but there’s no reason to treat customers that way. I definitely won’t be coming back.

This store acts like they sell high-end items that cost thousands of dollars
This store sells used garbage when I walked in. They told me I need to lock my purse in the locker because it was bigger.
I have been to so many high-end stores, but never in my life was asked to do this

I go to Plato’s often to look and sell. There’s always a turnover. Hired. Fired. There needs to be more fired people that currently work there, it makes the shopping extremely uncomfortable. Being asked to “ look inside my purse “, because “someone” saw me putting something in my purse. I’m a woman with a purse. Often women go in their purse to check phone etc. Then to be asked to look inside my purse by a European associate in front of everyone in the store, i am European myself, i allowed her to look and told her I have the items I’m buying behind the counter.
Really? I have to explain myself! I opened my purse and allowed her to look. Which I should not have to do, or be asked for that matter! It’s embarrassing and not necessary. Yes I see people stealing. It’s awful in Seattle. But you can tell who steals and who doesn’t. As I wear my Chanel boots. Really. I’m stealing from that store.
It makes me not want to go back. I’ve spent a lot of money there and this is what I get from the workers.
Wow.
Perhaps learn some manners and customer service.
Unacceptable.
