  This place has great quality used, well known brand names for affordable prices. They are very careful when taking your clothing for donations, theres great attention to detail. Ive donated clothing there before and it felt good to get a few bucks for old clothes taking up room. There was a pair of miss me jeans they wouldnt take for very light staining on them, even after I washed them. But it's ok , ive also donated some juicy purses. They are very organized. Today I went there to find a (new to me) rain jacket and they had me check in my purse, with personal belongings because it was a big tote bag. They did have this rule posted on a sign on their door , but i thought that was just a rule for your donations. The retail clerk was very polite about it tho, and took my purse to place safely in a bin for when I was done. I'd found a hooded Marmot rain jacket in just the color I wanted, in my size for $38 after tax when they usually sell brand new for over $100. Score! The lady at the counter was polite as well.   I love Plato’s and it’s so sad to see all the bad reviews. I think a lot of people don’t understand the pricing - they price items at about 30% of what they’re selling the item for, and they sell it for half of what it retails for. You’re not getting a large amount of money, even for brand new items. I went recently and sold a bunch of items, all the employees were really nice and took the time to explain why they did or didn’t take certain items. They rejected some items that confused me, but you have to remember that they only buy items that they think will sell. They won’t buy it if it’s out of style, not in season, or if they have too much of it in their inventory. This isn’t the place to go if you’re looking to make a profit, but it’s great to get a little cash for items that would otherwise sit in the closet or go to goodwill!

  Went to drop off clothes today which happened to be never worn and still had tags on them. These clothes were denied because they weren’t “hip” or modern enough for teenagers. They took a used skirt and pair of shoes. Do not bother coming here, it is a waste. My friend gave them her work t-shirts and they gave her $40 for it. This is BS! Not your money’s worth, just sell on Mercari or Depop.
