I had one of the most beautiful customer service experiences at JCPenney, and I truly felt compelled to share it.
On July 9, 2026, at around 8:45 p.m., I arrived at the store shortly before closing. I had to fly out that same night for a conference and urgently needed to purchase a shirt and complete my suit look. The fitting rooms had already closed, but when I politely explained my situation to Nasr, he showed me a level of kindness and hospitality that I will genuinely remember.
Nasr was an absolute gentleman. He kindly opened the fitting room for me, helped me find different shirts, patiently waited while I tried multiple sizes when the first ones did not fit, and never once made me feel rushed—even though the store was about to close.
But his kindness did not stop there. He helped me select a tie, and when he noticed that I was struggling to tie it properly, he personally helped me with it. That small gesture touched me deeply. Nasr went far beyond what was required of him. People like him remind us that true hospitality and customer service are not simply about completing a transaction—they are about empathy, patience, and making another person feel cared for.
I also want to recognize another wonderful employee who noticed me wandering around looking for a trash can while carrying a paper bag. Without me even asking, she came over, took it from me, and disposed of it herself. Such a simple act of kindness, but one that says so much about the culture of the people working at this store.
Finally, the cashier who assisted me was incredibly kind, welcoming, patient, and honest. Unfortunately, I cannot remember her exact name it may have been Shu, Shell, or something similar—but I hope management can identify her based on the date and time. She helped me apply the best available discounts, gave me honest advice about which colors suited me, and never pressured me to hurry or make a rushed decision despite the late hour. She patiently waited while I made my choices and made the entire experience feel warm and welcoming.
This is exactly why I am proud to be a loyal JCPenney customer. Experiences like this make me want to return again and again and recommend this location to everyone I know.
To the management: please recognize the employees who were working that evening, especially Nasr. Employees like these are the true face of a company. They do not simply show up to work—they bring heart, humanity, and genuine care to what they do.
Nasr, thank you for being such a thorough gentleman and for understanding my situation when you could easily have said that the fitting rooms were closed. Your kindness meant more to me than you probably realized.
God bless Nasr, his family, and all the wonderful employees who helped me that evening with happiness, success, and abundance. I hope JCPenney recognizes and celebrates people like them, because they are the reason customers like me keep coming back.
Thank you for making a stressful, last-minute shopping trip into such a memorable experience. ❤️
