My engagement ring, which we purchased from JCPenney, broke, and we also purchased the protection plan for it. When we went to the jewelry department for help, we waited more than five minutes before someone came to assist us. Unfortunately, the associate who helped us was very rude and disrespectful. She told us that the ring would take about one month to be repaired, and she took both of my rings. I understand that repairs can take time, but the way we were treated made an already stressful situation even more upsetting. This is my engagement ring, and it has a lot of sentimental value to me. We purchased the protection plan expecting to receive helpful, respectful, and professional customer service when we needed it. I hope JCPenney management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the customer service issues in the jewelry department. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, especially when they are dealing with an important and sentimental purchase.

Stains on the walls - Definitely needs a refurbishment Long cashier line but the employee thanked us for waiting which of course isn’t her fault. Overall I’ve had much better experiences at the Tacoma or Bellevue locations.
