  Historically I have had a good experience, but my most recent interaction has me completely turned off. I ordered three pairs of sunglasses in addition to some other clothing items. When I picked my order up from the store, my sunglasses were not included in the order, but a pair I did not order were. When I brought this up, a manager was called and I was effectively accused of stealing. They gave me a refund, but the tone was awful. I’ll be returning my other items and never shopping here again.

  I’ve been shopping at Nordstrom since 1982 when my dad bought me my first RL polo, and I worked at a Nordstrom Café in high school to buy my first car. I’ve always known their customer service to be top-tier, so I was pretty disappointed by a recent experience in the men’s department at the Tacoma location. I was running errands in jeans and sneakers and stopped in on the spur of the moment to buy a sport coat for an upcoming wedding. The salesperson sized me up and apparently decided I wasn't worth his time. Not only did he try to steer me away from their higher-end lines, but he discretely encouraged me to shop somewhere else. I didn't do or say anything to provoke it—he simply made an assumption based on my appearance and was incredibly dismissive. Is this really how Nordstrom conducts itself in Tacoma now?

  Jace helped me buy shorts. They were amazing. I hate shopping and it makes me want to cry. Jace made it to so easy and their style recommendations were perfect. They listened to my style requests and brought me all different sizes to try on promptly. I really hope they continue to work there. Jace was very kind and had a lovely patient approach. They deserve a raise and many other blessings.

  I never leave reviews EVER. Last weekend I came into Nordstrom with my boyfriend to smell some fragrances after a stressful experience in the main mall, I had no intention of buying anything because I am broke right now. I was given the most incredible customer service experience, there was a very kind man with glasses working in the women's fragrance section, I asked if there was a sample I could smell of a specific perfume and he ended up giving me a little sample bottle of it along with another fragrance he said he really enjoyed. Based on the fragrance that I asked to smell he recommended me some other fragrances he thought I would enjoy and he did an A+ job with the suggestions. When I have the funds, I plan on returning to purchase one of the suggested fragrances and making it my daily scent. I'm extremely satisfied with the service, kindness and level of attention I received at this location!

  I love meeting people who are so knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about what they do. Michael did an amazing job explaining the perfumes and even gave me tips on how to layer different scents. I could honestly talk to him all day about fragrances because I’ve recently developed an appreciation for the world of perfume. His passion and expertise made the whole experience enjoyable, and I left learning something new. Shout out to Michael for an amazing experience!
