  My wife and I just left your Tacoma Mall Store.. we was helped by one of your employees named Jeannette . She went above and beyond helping us.. we reopened our JCPenney card because of how incredible her personal skills are.. In today’s world it’s hard to meet people that actually care about others .. Before I left I even called her a Rock Star because of her customer service.. Thank you Jeannette and JCPenney 😀

  Want to shout out the associate named William here. I came in looking for a dress shirt and was completely lost. While wandering around he approached me and asked me if I needed any help. I told him what I was looking for and William went above and beyond not only finding what I was looking for in my price range, but making sure it fit and looked good! People like William restore my faith in humanity and remind me there is still great customer service out there.

  I purchased a tank top on sale at the Tacoma Mall JcP and I forgot to give my phone number for the Rewards and I also didn't receive a receipt or misplaced it. When I returned home I realized that I had another tank top in a similar shade of green so I returned to the store the next week to return it or to exchange it for another color (not worn and tags still on). I had checked the return policy online which noted that without a sales receipt I could receive a store credit. The sales clerk told me that because I didn't have a receipt I could not return it or receive a store credit. I asked to speak with the store manager and advised them of what I had read online but the store manager also said I could not even receive a store credit. When I asked her why she told me that it was her manager's policy and what he had told her. Immediately after this conversation the manager said to the sales clerk, in front of me and at least one other customer, "Moving forward, you always ask the customer for their phone number" and she continued talking after I left. Not only was the manager rather rude to me but she was very harsh to her employee, especially as she was speaking to her that way in front of customers. I have been a customer of JcP for decades and always liked their merchandise but since this incident I have stayed away from the Tacoma Mall JcP.

  A sweet friend of mine went to this JCP Salon 10 days ago. She is heartbroken because the stylist cut her hair way too short and gave her a perm which didn’t hold. She finally contacted the salon today just to be told that she was passed the 7 day window for a free re-perm. She paid the salon around $145 for a lousy cut and perm. She has no more money. My poor friend who is always happy just stays at home now so nobody will see her ugly hair. Really salon? This makes me sad.

  I had a great experience today and was able to find the clothing I wanted. Stephanie and William were such a great help!
