Life long responsible firearm operator, enthusiast, and owner here. I have successfully purchased and taken ownership of many firearms in the last two decades without issue. WHAT IN THE HECK IS GOING ON WITH SPORTSMAN'S WAREHOUSE AND THIS STORE!? Back on July 24th I placed an online order for a Sportsman's Warehouse Exclusive firearm that showed "In-Stock" but oddly was unable to be found when visiting store. I went ahead and placed the online order per a young man at gun counter staff recommendation to be delivered to this store. However one week turned to two and then turned to three.Corporate customer service when you call the 800 customer service number is TERRIBLE! Two weeks ago I had called in to work with the corporate customer service multiple times for assistance on the discrepancy with my order for the firearm, but come to find out weeks later the info they provided was erroneous and incorrect. Another (third or fourth) call in I requested and insisted on speaking with a supervisor or manager. After another nearly hour long conversation I was to watch their website for a week to see if said firearm was to magically come back in stock and either way call BACK IN a week later. Well surprise, guess what, it never did. Another half hour call the next week and they supposedly ended up placing a "manual firearm transfer" from another store in the Northwest that had it in stock. And guess what, I have pay their mandatory $50 store-to-store firearm transfer fee for this. This despite their shitty warehouse inventory management system that did not allocate a product properly even though it said and showed "In Stock" at the time of my order. In store staff admitted their inventory system is flawed in this way. Anyway, I am told they will make it right, but we'll see if it ever even arrives or if I am contacted by this store or not. I could go on and on, but very long story short...I am STILL awaiting shipment of the firearm and contact from this Silverdale store! What really blows is if it ever arrives and I am contacted, I then have to go back in store to go fill out the ATF FTR (Firearm Transaction Record) 4473, and then wait another 10 business days mandatory holding period in WA state. This is basically a two week waiting period for a firearm you purchase with your hard earned money. I will be completely shocked if this even works out at this point! Complete disregard and execution of quality customer service which is completely ironic because when you call 800-286-3076 for their customer service line, it literally says, "Thank you for calling Sportsman's Warehouse where we offer great gear and great service." 😂💀 This has been such a joke with me at the butt end. This particular store management reflects this as well. Absolutely no accountability and it may not be their fault, because great culture and service begins at the top, and it obviously is lacking in this company. This will be my second or third firearm purchase with Sportsman's Warehouse over the years. But regardless of this outcome I WILL NOT purchase another firearm from this company in the future and I will advise against anyone doing so in large my circle based on this experience.

Sometimes they have good sale on guns, but if you order a gun online, they say they have it in the store, but I'll be on back order. And you won't get it for a whole month.

Many employees don't know products well. Missing good customer service. Lots of good products and selection. You just need to know what you want.

Brought in my gun to Silverdale to get sent into Beretta. Guy behind the gun counter was confused when I told him it didn't need to go to the gun smith, but sent back to Benelli (Beretta) and had the cust service rep on the speaker phone stating they will send the shipping label at no cost to the FFL to ship. Silverdale Sportsman still sent it to their gunsmith... After 4 months, of asking where my gun is, the Silverdale store stated they would find out what happened to it. A couple more months have passed and i fi d out they made no attempt to locate it and said it's probably at the gunsmith or benelli but they had no way of knowing. I ended up calling the sportsman gunsmith in Utah myself as the staff at Silverdale was not helpful. I just found out it has just been sitting there this whole time and the Silverdale staff could have made even a simple attempt to get it shipped back to them. Colton from the Utah Gunsmith was helpful but I would not go back to Silverdale Sportsman for any of the my gun needs

So many time I have items show in stock online but they are nowhere to be found. Now I went in for a muzzleloader part and it appears they do not even have a muzzleloader section now! Similar experience with archery tools and supplies last year. Website says all sorts of thing are in stock but in reality it is one tiny section with a single bottle of glue in stock. Used to have a substantial selection of scope bases, rings and other parts from various brands. Now it is a tiny shelf with incomplete inventory to complete a project. All ammunition is behind the counter now but I believe they are required to do that now. Slow to get help from staff unfortunately. This location is really going downhill. Seems like every time I go in there is less inventory and everything is spread out. Not willing to stock common items a DIY outdoorsman would need. I can understand not stocking manufacturer parts but its too the point now where you might as well walk into a Walmart.
