  Had an appt at 11 am...yesterday....got a conformation text that morning...arrived at 10:45 to find a handwritten note posted in the locked front door 'closed till further notice'

  Stores like this are the reason people prefer to do most of their shopping online. I came to buy a product because the website said (and still says) it is in stock at this store. When I arrived, I asked an associate where this product was and she pointed across the store and said "over by the fishing poles". I looked around and couldn't find it, so I found the same associate and asked for help finding the product. She again pointed and said "it's by the fishing poles and clothing in a locked case". So I asked if she could accompany me since I knew what I wanted and she stated she didn't have the keys. I had to wait for another associate who said the product I wanted was behind the gun counter. I waited by the gun counter while two associates, who were standing around while customers were working on registration (meaning the associates were just standing there talking to each other) told me I had to wait and they were busy. Then the same unhelpful associate from earlier came to the gun counter and called the people behind me to the counter if they wanted to buy ammo, and same for the next person behind me. Finally I said I was looking for the product that I had originally asked her about and she looked annoyed, so I pulled out my phone and showed her the product from their website and showed her that it was in stock. Then another associate said I don't know where those are but he went to look. Finally he came back and said they don't have it and I would need to order it online. I wasted over 30 minutes here for what should have been a quick and easy pickup of an expensive item, and not once did any associate greet me with a smile or offer to actually help me find the product I was looking for, and to top it all off their website doesn't reflect accurate inventory. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere that cares about their customers.

  Very knowledgeable staff. I had no idea what I was buying I just had some jibber jabber written on a paper from my dad. I took it to the counter and they knew instantly what it was. Worked out great!!

  Life long responsible firearm operator, enthusiast, and owner here. I have successfully purchased and taken ownership of many firearms in the last two decades without issue. WHAT IN THE HECK IS GOING ON WITH SPORTSMAN'S WAREHOUSE AND THIS STORE!? Back on July 24th I placed an online order for a Sportsman's Warehouse Exclusive firearm that showed "In-Stock" but oddly was unable to be found when visiting store. I went ahead and placed the online order per a young man at gun counter staff recommendation to be delivered to this store. However one week turned to two and then turned to three.Corporate customer service when you call the 800 customer service number is TERRIBLE! Two weeks ago I had called in to work with the corporate customer service multiple times for assistance on the discrepancy with my order for the firearm, but come to find out weeks later the info they provided was erroneous and incorrect. Another (third or fourth) call in I requested and insisted on speaking with a supervisor or manager. After another nearly hour long conversation I was to watch their website for a week to see if said firearm was to magically come back in stock and either way call BACK IN a week later. Well surprise, guess what, it never did. Another half hour call the next week and they supposedly ended up placing a "manual firearm transfer" from another store in the Northwest that had it in stock. And guess what, I have pay their mandatory $50 store-to-store firearm transfer fee for this. This despite their shitty warehouse inventory management system that did not allocate a product properly even though it said and showed "In Stock" at the time of my order. In store staff admitted their inventory system is flawed in this way. Anyway, I am told they will make it right, but we'll see if it ever even arrives or if I am contacted by this store or not. I could go on and on, but very long story short...I am STILL awaiting shipment of the firearm and contact from this Silverdale store! What really blows is if it ever arrives and I am contacted, I then have to go back in store to go fill out the ATF FTR (Firearm Transaction Record) 4473, and then wait another 10 business days mandatory holding period in WA state. This is basically a two week waiting period for a firearm you purchase with your hard earned money. I will be completely shocked if this even works out at this point! Complete disregard and execution of quality customer service which is completely ironic because when you call 800-286-3076 for their customer service line, it literally says, "Thank you for calling Sportsman's Warehouse where we offer great gear and great service." 😂💀 This has been such a joke with me at the butt end. This particular store management reflects this as well. Absolutely no accountability and it may not be their fault, because great culture and service begins at the top, and it obviously is lacking in this company. This will be my second or third firearm purchase with Sportsman's Warehouse over the years. But regardless of this outcome I WILL NOT purchase another firearm from this company in the future and I will advise against anyone doing so in large my circle based on this experience.
