  Is this the Rack? Inept staff, no operator. Over 10 min and I can’t be transferred to the correct counter. So I go in … and staff said 90% of items I was looking for are only available as a tester/ sold online/ or available in Bellevue. I get it downtown is scary now. But bro this is not Nordies standards. Also staff should be forbidden from wearing knock off / replica jewelry.

  The store itself is beautiful, but the experience felt surprisingly flat. It was unusually quiet and nearly empty, and the surrounding downtown area felt subdued and run-down—honestly, not the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to linger, shop, or spend money. 😕🛍️ Compared with the Nordstrom in Aventura, this location feels noticeably less upscale and lacks the energy and polish I’d expect from a flagship store. And with Seattle’s 10.55% sales tax, the overall shopping experience feels even less appealing when the atmosphere doesn’t match the price point. 💸

  I've been here a few times and all of the store employees are very helpful. One of which that is the more memorable was an employee named Gabriel. He helped a lot in giving suggestion and good conversationalist as well, which helped me and my family familiarized more with the store itself. He was helpful in recovering my cancelled order and creating my nordstrom account. Overall, the employees were nice, helpful, willing to get themselves know more about the customers, and making sure the experience is satisfied for the customers

  Poor customer service in the shoe dept. I asked for anatomical shaped shoes, was told there were none and found a few pairs myself. I pointed them out and nobody offered to let me try them on so I just used their bathroom and left. 3 stars because the bathroom was very clean.

  I am very disappointed with the customer service I experienced at Nordstrom today, September 2, 2026, at approximately 11:00 AM. We selected a PER UNA BY M&S outfit and asked an employee to hold it for us while we continued shopping. The items were the Embellished Vest (style T53/2825U), size 14, $136, and the matching Lyocell Rich Embellished Wide Leg Trousers (style T53/7879U), size 10, $178. When we returned to complete the purchase, the employee who had been helping us explained that she could not check us out because Nordstrom had a new system that she did not know how to use. What surprised me even more was that she was unable to find another employee to assist us. I then waited approximately 15 minutes for another cashier who was assisting a customer. I had absolutely no problem waiting for her to finish with that customer — she was doing her job. However, after she returned, I was told I would need to continue waiting while she assisted another customer, which took another 15–20 minutes. During all of this, at least three other Nordstrom employees walked past me. Not one stopped to ask whether I needed assistance or tried to find someone who could complete my purchase. After waiting this long simply to pay for merchandise I had already selected, I finally left without making the purchase. This was over $300 in merchandise that I was ready to buy. I have been a loyal Nordstrom customer, and this is not the level of service I expect from Nordstrom. My complaint is not about the cashier who was busy helping another customer. My concern is that several employees were present, yet no one took responsibility for helping a customer who was standing there ready to make a purchase. I hope management reviews what happened and addresses this, because losing a ready-to-buy customer simply because no one is available or willing to complete the transaction should not happen at Nordstrom.
