Founded in Vancouver BC in 1998, the first lululemon shared its retail space with a yoga studio. We've been growing ever since, and our technical yoga and run clothes are now available in countries all over the world. We want to elevate the world from mediocrity to greatness. Our Mission Statement is to create components for people to live longer, healthier, fun lives. We make technical athletic apparel for yoga, dancing, and most other sweaty pursuits.

Whether it’s a new purchase or an item I’ve owned for years, being able to have it tailored makes the clothing last longer and fit exactly how I want. Finding clothes with the right length and fit is one of the most frustrating parts of shopping. Lululemon takes that frustration away by offering complimentary hemming, while Vuori does not. With Vuori’s limited inseam options and no alteration service for pants, shirts, or other apparel, I often decide not to buy items I otherwise would have purchased because I know they won’t fit correctly. This service is a major reason I remain loyal to Lululemon. It adds long-term value, reduces waste, and gives me confidence that my clothing will continue to fit well for years. I truly hope Lululemon continues offering complimentary hemming…..it is one of the brand’s greatest benefits for me.
