I asked the cashier (medium skin, chin-length, black curly hair and glasses), Jordan, if he had 'fresh'/new twenties, as I was getting change, which I do with other businesses, to no problem.
After he took my $40, I picked up on the disrespect, talking down to me, as he said, 'I'm not doing that.' I paused and said, 'They're real; you're welcome to check,' responding to being treated lesser-than and with suspicion.
He said, 'I'm not worried about fake bills. I'm not a bank.'
No, but you just took my money and are already giving change, and my bank, thanks to Seattle, DOESN'T KEEP CASH ON-HAND AT ALL OF THEIR LOCATIONS.
It's the way that it's said.
I go around the corner to other staff, and say, 'I don't think I'll be coming back. That's really not how you talk to/treat customers.'
The taller white guy with long, lighter hair burst in with defense, rudely, before ever asking what happened or what the problem was: 'EX-CUSE ME! Jordan is a nice person. Don't talk about him that way.'
'The way that I was just talked to was not nice.'
Basically, disregarding the whole interaction, heaping on me, and then insulting my character for pointing out the disrespectful attitude.
I left, paused, and returned, to return all product that I legally could, to not give the store my business or return again.
That long-haired one who immediately went on the offensive, came charging towards me, as I walked in: 'Um -- EXCUSE ME! You are not welcome in this store anymore!' (Was he going to tell ME that?)
He then accused that he 'didn't like the way that I talked to (his) employees.' Incredulous, I repeated, 'The way that I talk to your employees?!' I've never been disrespectful or impolite to his employees, and was polite and shot the breeze every time that I purchased product, as they got it and rang it up.
He said, 'You talk to my employees too much.'
Read that again.
That was to a loyal customer, who they always acted nicely to in return -- to your face. Not behind your back.
They looked down at me, as a cripple with a walker in constant severe pain, slow-moving/ginger, as beneath them. Lesser-than.
The whole reason that I'd purchase cannabis, for help.
They take your money, and insult you behind your back and as you leave.
The mask comes off.
I calmly asked for my money back, didn't go in on what he was on about, and left, to never return again.
The disdain that they have for their customers, and the fake face that they put on.
Also, what made 'Jordan' bristle was when I asked if the prerolls that I was buying had the 'General Use' sticker, which indicates pesticide-free. He said, 'No, but it's DOH, so it's fine.' I replied that DOH (Dept of Health) is who told hard drug users to smoke fentanyl inside of busses, and is why dispensary cannabis is chock-full of Chinese pesticides and toxic molds, so -- no, DOH passing it is NOT the same. They are NOT doing required inspections.
You have a right to ask about product, and to ensure that what you are putting in your body is not harmful.
But, the Chinese pesticides and toxic molds problem across the state's dispensary product is a hush-hush issue that isn't discussed. They need the feds to look into it.
Go somewhere else. They were 'nice' to me too... until they weren't. 180.
They don't care about you in the least as a customer, you are not to 'talk too much to them,' especially if asking about product quality, and they look down on the cripples/those appearing poor.
The quick 180 showed them fully.
And, the tall guy with long hair certainly doesn't know how to handle conflict.
Until the state REMOVES the Chinese pesticides and toxic molds from their product (they don't care), you're better off going without, entirely. Talk about future lung problems. Chinese pesticidss are highly illegal and toxic for a good reason--and, you're lighting it and inhaling.
Surprised that there hasn't been a class-action, but most are unaware.
Anyways, go somewhere where people actually respect the people who give them money, and who care about your satisfaction as a customer.
