I went to this goodwill today for the second time. I regularly shop at goodwills, about 90 percent of my closet is thrifted clothes. Whether it’s goodwills, small antique shops, or Depop I have bought items. Due to this I am heavily aware of prices when it comes to items being sold. Today when shopping at this goodwill location I attempted to purchase a lululemon zip up sweatshirt. It was by no means brand new, the fabric was heavily worn and had multiple stains. When I got in line to purchase the item I noticed there was no tag, and asked the person checking me out if they could price it for me. She then proceeded to tell me that the sweatshirt would be 50 dollars. Now I know lululemon is high end but 50 dollars for a heavily worn stained item that sells on Depop for 18-30 dollars is INSANE. I have also purchased lululemon and even higher end brands at other goodwills for WAY LESS. I am not sure if the workers are not paying enough attention when pricing an item or are oblivious to the item quality but that is a completely insane price for a used jacket coming from a non profit organization. I would give this location a 0 stars if possible, not even purely off of the price but also the workers attitudes and helpfulness towards the situation. Get a better system goodwill.

Rude unprofessional staff. The register screen on customer side was blank did not show item rung up and payment ready. The very rude clerk, "catherine' just stood glared at me she demanded to know if I was going to their education fund and "are yo going to pay"? I said screen for payment blank, she barked at me, "I can see it on my side"! I asked if she had added the senior discount she heaved a huge sigh and was very hostile even though I had told her at the onset I had senior discount. I will be returning the item and plan for it to me my last trip to the Redmond Goodwill.

I had a deeply upsetting experience at Goodwill Redmond today that felt discriminatory and unacceptable. I selected a kitchen island cart and was waiting for an employee to assist me in placing it on hold. While I was waiting, another couple arrived and asked a different employee about the same item. I clearly told them that I had already selected it and was waiting for help, and they initially stepped away. My name was then placed on the item to hold. However, just minutes later, the same couple returned with a receipt showing they had purchased the item. I immediately spoke with the manager and explained that the item was already under my name and that I had been there first. Despite this, the manager chose to honor their purchase and ignored my claim entirely. The only difference between us was race, and the way this situation was handled made me feel that I was treated unfairly because of it. Being overlooked, dismissed, and denied something I had already claimed—while another customer was prioritized—was not just poor service, it felt like clear bias. This experience left me feeling disrespected and unwelcome. I hope Goodwill takes this seriously, reviews their policies, and ensures that all customers are treated fairly and equally, regardless of who they are.

I cannot believe that even Goodwill has hired this manager. I don't know her name because she wouldn't tell me it when I asked , that's a red flag on its own and very unprofessional but she stepped it up a notch and put the refuses money coming in to the store. I had a full basket of clothes to buy, was in line at 10 to 8 pm and while waiting in line I realized my phone was dead, I didn't bring my wallet with me and only had tap to pay! With probably around $200 plus worth of clothes to buy and the embarrassment of having to just leave it and make the employees put it all back, not to mention the time I took finding these items and trying them on, I really didn't want to just leave them and this store will not hold stuff for you. I asked to please charge my phone, by the time they would be done ringing it up my phone would be charged enough, I just needed it charged to 1 or 2 %. I asked the "manager" a women in her 30s or 40s but acts like a 10yr . And she said no, there were still people in line btw and not even 8pm. I told her the time she was taking by rudely explaining to me why she won't allow it it would be charged and I could pay, the employees wouldnt have to spend quite some time putting it back and Goodwill would of been $200 richer but I guess not. I went back into the active line to deal with the cart I had still in line and got to a checker. I asked him if I could charge my phone while he rang in my stuff and he said yes and was about to plug it in but then here comes the 'manager" dressed in all brown with glasses and a med build with I don't know how to explain it but like 2 messy buns up on her head. She then told the employee no she can't charge her phone I told her no. I told her do you not want to make your store money and she said to leave it's now 8:03 pm!!! I told her she was very unprofessional and she represents the company horribly. I went outside the store and my car wasn't out in the parking lot because my friend ran to the store really fast . I stood not in front of the store but by the street so id be as far away from the wild banchee "manager" who was now standing by the door yelling at me and taunting me . I yelled at her again to get inside and how inappropriate she is. She literally stood there for a good 5 mins harassing me yelling across the parking lot stupid stuff. I realized my friend parked my car over by the donation area and I walked by to go to my car where she still yelled stupidly and idiotically by the front door to my Audi. Funny I drive an Audi because she commented about me being ghetto or poor... Little does she know I spend about $300 -$400 a week at thrift stores if not more because I resale and I'm addicted to clothes and it's my hobby. In the last 3 days I spent just under $300 just there. Now I can't and won't come back. Goodwill before you either get sued or something stupid happens by this horrible display as a manager you have there I would get rid of her and fast. My dad was a business man , we have our family business and I've ran many crews of employees and never would EVER hire this employee to even scrub toilets in a basement let alone hire her in a customer service retail business and especially as a lead and example to all your other employees

It has become a very poor store. The clothes, furniture, and other items have become very expensive. I used to visit this store every day, but in recent months they seem to have decided to raise their prices, and I realized that I wouldn't be coming back.
