  I have been a JCPenney customer for some time, and I also have a JCPenney Mastercard. On Tuesday, I visited the store with my wife to purchase a formal men’s suit. We asked the cashier associate, Wafa, several questions about prices and online ordering options, and we went back and forth to her several times. She was patient, respectful, and helpful every time. Wafa also suggested that my wife open a new JCPenney account to receive a $35 discount, which we did. My wife then asked if we could use the discount toward a different purchase rather than the suit, since I planned to pay for the suit using my own account. Wafa was very understanding and took the time to confirm this with her supervisor, Joni, who was also very friendly and helpful. I simply wanted to take a moment to share this positive experience. My wife left the store very happy, thanks to Wafa’s patience and kindness and Joni’s understanding and respectful assistance. Thank you, JCPenney, for choosing such excellent employees. We truly appreciated the service we received and will definitely be visiting again.

  I had a wonderful experience with Joni on Saturday. I asked for help finding a blouse in the Plus Size department, but my size wasn’t available. Joni personally walked me to another department where the same blouses were located and stayed with me to help. When we still couldn’t find my size, Joni explained that I could order it at the register. Aquila, a new associate who was my cashier, wasn’t familiar with the ordering process and called for assistance. Joni came to my rescue once again and helped me place the order. When I returned Thursday to pick up my blouse, Aquila recognized me right away and cheerfully asked if I was there to pick up my top. I was so impressed that she remembered me and by her friendly, genuine customer service. Thank you, Joni and Aquila, for making my experience so wonderful. JCPenney is lucky to have such caring associates!

  Escalator was broken, had to hunt around for the elevator. Only one cash register open in the entire store. Line was twelve people deep. I was in there for almost an hour, to get a single item from men’s section. It’s almost like they don’t want you to buy anything in there. Only go if you have to or don’t care about wasting your time.

  Went to womens check out register 9/14/26. New employee asking another cashier for Help. The Jc Penney cashier didn't want to help the New Employee. She was talking down to her. The cashier was extremely unprofessional, Rude and Passive Aggressive to twhat seems to be a New Employee just for asking a question. I had to Stop the Jc Penney Cashier towards the New Employee. It is ashame that there is No team work, Poor Demeanor, Poor Mentality, Bad attitudes towards a New Employee for No Reason. Unbelievable, Unprofessional and Unethical. Alderwoor Mall JC Penney Store Manager cross trained your Current Employees to be Nice, Friendly, Welcoming to New Employees. Every one DESERVES to be Treated with Dignityband Respect.

  I have never been so embarrassed and disrespected in all my life. I came in on 8/30/26 and I was trying to use my online gift card and for some reason it wouldn’t work and I was accused by the sales manager of it possibly being fraudulent in front of everyone there. It was not a fraudulent e-card and they couldn’t figure out how to make it work. I gave the clerk cash that I didn’t want to spend and left humiliated and angry. Your managers and sales people need to learn how to respect their customers and give better service in the future. I didn’t catch a name of any of them because I just wanted to leave. I’ve come here for over 30 years and my mother and I have even worked in this very location when I was young. Do better.
