The worst sportsman’s warehouse in America. Not one worker knows anything about hunting. They never take returns even if you buy it on an account they do not care if you have the tags and everything. The manager does not care about the customer nor does anyone I have talked to. I asked for help to find the ammo and the worker just pointed in general direction and did not say a word. I love sportsman’s in most areas but this one is completely mid managed. Also be prepared to wait in line for an hour even if there is only 5 people in the store.

I’m leaving this review because I’ve had several disappointing experiences with Jorge. Coming from a military background, you tend to notice small details about the people you come in contact with, especially when it comes to professionalism, awareness, and how someone conducts themselves in a place of business.
On multiple occasions when I’ve come into the store to look at a firearm and was being helped by Jorge, he has disappeared while assisting me, leaving his coworkers to take over. This has happened more than once, and it has left me with the impression that customers aren’t being taken seriously.
What stands out to me is the difference between Jorge’s customer service and the service I’ve received from Luis and Jose. Whenever Jorge has disappeared, Luis and Jose have always been willing to step in, answer my questions, and assist customers with what they came into the store for even when they are bombarded at the counter. They have been professional, knowledgeable, and respectful when helping with my firearm-related questions and making sure customers receive the assistance they need. I believe employees like Luis and Jose deserve recognition for the way they represent the business.
I also have concerns regarding firearm-carrying policy. I have personally observed Jorge carrying a firearm in his waistband while working in the store.
What concerns me is that I have asked other employees who work at the gun counter whether they carry while working, and I was told that carrying is against company policy. If that information is accurate, I would like management to clarify why Jorge appears to be treated differently. Is he specifically authorized to carry, or is there an exception that other employees aren't aware of?
I’m asking management to review the situation, clarify the actual company policy, and make sure the same rules and expectations are being applied consistently to all employees.
My experiences with Jorge have been frustrating, while Luis and Jose have consistently provided the professional customer service I expect when visiting the firearms counter at sportsmans. I believe management should take these concerns seriously, investigate them, and address any issues they find.

I have never had such a poor experience at a sportsman’s warehouse. We went in to get a replacement part for my bow. First thing was they no longer had an archery specialist, apparently theirs up and quit a few weeks ago, so they had to go grab a manager. The manager was extremely short with us and interrupted several times while I was trying to tell him what happened and what we were there for. Then once we figured out what we were going to do to make the situation right he passes us off to another employee. She was much more helpful and she was able to help us better than the manager but in the meantime the manager guy was rude and talking very aggressively to both the employees and all the customers. One customer near us overhearing how the manager was talking to the female worker said ”is he always that rude to you guys”. Very unprofessional of the male manager.
