  Customer Service 1/10. Waited in line for over an hour for literally just ammo. Acknowledge people in line and ask questions to see if it’s an easy purchase or if it will take longer and be more involved. Not mention, I can clearly see multiple workers just walking around. Hop in and assist.

  waste of time to try and buy ammo here. everything is behind the counter and you have to wait for people buying guns, doing full background checks abs the whole 9 yards. god forbid they have more than 2 people at the counter and none of them have manager clearance. no state law in washington requires ammo to be behind a counter, absolutely ridiculous

  I bought a motor online for pick up, on my girlfriend computer so the email was hers and the name it was under. I drove 40 minutes before work to come pick it up and was told she had to be here, even though I had the verification email and order number.🤦🏾‍♂️

  I live close by, and have been coming here for almost 10 years.. Over the last few, this sportsman’s has really really gone downhill.. *I have written probably 5 online reviews in my life (not all bad), but here ya go: The selection has dwindled, and more importantly, the customer service has TANKED. I have bought several firearms from here, and may not ever again.. (WILL NOT, unless during the anniversary sale). I came in during the anniversary sale 2 weeks ago, and waited 4.5 hours to be seen (there was was only 6 people approximately in front of me), by the only ‘qualified’ individual it seems that could show people guns and proceed with background paperwork. There was 6 employees at once working behind the gun counter, with only ONE able to do paperwork. To make matters worse, one of the gentleman in front of me came in right at opening (and waited 4 hours) , only to find that the firearm that said online was in stock in store, was not.. A waste of half his Saturday. The selection of non firearm goods, has depleted.. And the firearm customer service is outrageously horrible. Do yourself a favor and go to West Coast Armory or Skagit Arms if you are gun shopping, or anywhere else..

  This place, particularly the firearms department, is a joke. The guy working the firearms counter at the Everett store...ZERO people skills...ZERO customer service. There were multiple people in line for firearms stuff, but a woman and her daughter were trying to look at a pair of binoculars. The woman became frustrated with the wait, and the fact no other employees were called to the firearms department to assist. The woman finally walked off, justifiably frustrated, making a comment about how the guy at the firearms area couldn't even call somebody else to show her a pair of binoculars. The firearms clerk, in front of me and multiple other waiting customers, raised his voice in frustration and told the woman, "There is nobody else!" Wow. Very professional...not. To make matters even more of a joke, there was another female employee behind the counter a little further down on a computer doing who knows what. She ignored the waiting customers. I get she was probably working on something but the optics of her standing at the computer while customers waited and the woman trying to look at binoculars was ignored reflect poorly on this store. What clown is running it? I mean, I am not a business owner, but customer service IS NOT HARD! I saw other employees and not a single one acknowledged any of us waiting. I get it if the firearms department has ONE GUY and it may not be your area, but at least acknowledge customers, because maybe there IS something you can help them with. I waited in line for 45 minutes for a rifle I had purchased online and had shipped to the store. Once I finally got to the counter the clerk, again, ZERO people or customer service skills, doesn't make eye contact, smile, or acknowledge the long wait. He acts bothered. I am not sure what may be going on in his personal life, but he struck me as a very unhappy person. I explained I was there to fill out paperwork for a rifle I had ordered (which I should have been able to quickly do and then leave like at other FFL's I have used). He asked me for my "HB1143" form. This is most likely a corporate, CYA policy Sportsman's Warehouse has in place to make people prove they have taken a specific rifle safety class, and it annoyed me because I hadn't read anything about the requirement when I purchased the rifle on Sportsman's website (it is probably on there somewhere but maybe make it more clear, especially before I drive to the store then wait in line 45 minutes only to be told about it once I finally make it to the counter). Anyway, I told him to cancel the order, and I left (Sportsman's lost an $1100 dollar sale and my business forever). I then ordered the rifle from a different retailer online, had it shipped to my usual FFL dealer, and had no problems (and waited 0 minutes in line). I will never try and do business with Sportsman's Warehouse again. What a clown show they are running.
