  I am writing to formally complain about the way I have been treated by an employee named Zenith at the Michael Kors Outlet at Potomac Mills in Woodbridge, Virginia. I am a regular customer at this location and have spent well over $1,000 purchasing merchandise from this store. I enjoy shopping at Michael Kors, but unfortunately, my recent experiences involving Zenith have made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. On more than one occasion, when I have returned or exchanged merchandise, Zenith has questioned me about why I am returning items and has made comments about how I “always return stuff.” Most recently, I came to the store to exchange merchandise. I was not even requesting my money back; I simply wanted to exchange an item that I no longer wanted. The receipts I received from this store clearly state that eligible merchandise may be returned for a full refund or exchanged within 30 days of the original purchase. I have been following the store’s stated policy, so I do not understand why I should be questioned, criticized, or made to feel uncomfortable for using a policy Michael Kors provides to its customers. What made the situation even more upsetting was that Zenith discussed my returns with another employee, who then approached me and also commented about how I frequently return merchandise. Having multiple employees confront me about my shopping and return history was embarrassing and made me feel singled out. I want to make clear that I am not asking for special treatment. I simply expect to be treated with courtesy and respect when making a legitimate return or exchange within the store’s policy. I would also like to recognize Christopher, who I believe is a manager or supervisor at this location. Christopher has always treated me professionally and respectfully, and I greatly appreciate the way he handles customers. I have continued spending my money at this store because I like Michael Kors products, but no customer should feel harassed or embarrassed for making an eligible return or exchange. I respectfully ask management to review this situation and address the way I have been treated so that I can shop at this location without feeling uncomfortable or singled out. Thank you for taking my complaint seriously. I would appreciate a response regarding this matter.

  My husband and I went into the store. My husband wanted a belt, and I wanted a purse. Once we found what we wanted, my husband asked if he could get his belt cut to size they said with an attuide come back another day, we then said today was our only free time, they got mad and still told us to come back another day (there was no one in the store so i'm not sure why they couldn't do it) Afterwards I asked for specific type of purse that I wanted even pointed it out to them and they said "ok we'll bring it out for you" they came out with it wrapped up and didn't allow me to see it for some reason again they caught an attuide with me. I should've noticed the unprofessional, but I'm too much of a nice person, and I wanted to trust them. Once I got home, I was so excited to open my purse and see it, just to come to find out that they had given me the wrong bag. (I showed pictures below) I'm not sure how they got confused from a cream purse that had the logos on it to a white bag. (I would not be coming back to this location after the way we got treated and will be going somewhere else to exchange it)

  Terrible customer service! Me and my mother were followed around the store, but could not get anyone to help us locate items. When we got to the register we inquired about the price of a pair of sandals after already having spent hundreds on purses we were treated like an annoyance. I WILL NOT be returning. Terrible store with awful management. Do better!

  Was sent there for a return, no problem treated very well. Very nice things there , must see if you're at Potomac mall.
