  Plato’s closet needs to fully inform their customers and update their websites on buying policies and procedures. I left one location because it was busy and was told to try the Williamsburg location i tried to call in advance multiple times and couldn’t get connected to the store i then drove 30 minutes to be told they were no longer accepting items even tho i only had 2 items. When i tried to show them that i tried calling multiple times and who i cooked with they stilll said they wouldn’t be able to help me

  My daughter goes here all the time. She loves the prices and tends to find a lot of stuff she likes. I also noticed a lot of reviews complaining about the way things are exchanged. If you're going to give it away anyway, why complain about a business making some profit. It is a business but I'm guessing the complaints are from some entitled housewives bringing in clothes that were never worn because they go out shopping too often for lack of anything else to do. Typical Williamsburg.

  I was so excited when I moved here and heard they were putting in a PC. I loved the location I frequented in Northern VA. The girls who run this shop are nice, but you can’t collect and sell good quality clothes if you don’t know what to look for. I have been several times and never find anything good. It’s overfull racks of cheap used clothes. They collect junky trends from brands like SHEIN. This Plato’s closet is a huge disappointment. I’d suggest hiring staff who know the difference between fast fashion trends and quality pieces will actually sell.
