  Won't exchange for another size if tag isn't attached, despite tag in hand and buying the item mere minutes ago, with the same cashier. Will not be shopping with AE again.

  Would give zero stars if i could. They need to relax on their return/exchange policy, don't appreciate being treated like a criminal bc I asked to exchange 2 pairs of shorts that both stretched out too much when I wore them for less than 2 hours, I'm new to American eagle shorts so I didn't know they were gonna do that and I was basically told to suck it up, 70 dollars worth. After I was left sitting on hold for nearly 30 minutes. Totally shitty way to treat customers. Especially when all I wanted was to just exchange them for a different/smaller fit to allow stretching room. Never have I dealt with such a rigid return policy from a big corporation like that. Usually they have great return policies. Buyer beware they do NOT value their customers and expect you to just eat it when their products stretch out which you won't even know until AFTER you wear it for a little bit. That is no way to treat your customers to just not be willing to help at all. They were dismissive and acted like they couldn't care less. Shame on them.
