  Returned shoes for a bigger size...spoke to K. (initial for managers name)was really nice and professional on the phone and actually held the correct size for me to exchange..Upon entering the store approached the counter with the return and receipt. The lady had an attitude but took the shoes and stated " I have to damage these out" , I tried them on and placed them back inside of the box, nothing was damaged. As I was trying on the correct size of shoes I noticed she had an attitude sort of throwing the shoes on the counter. There was another young lady who was friendly and smiled from a distance. The shoes were the perfect fit but the lady wasn't very friendly proceeded to reprint my receipt and I looked around and left. It seems as if she took it personal that I had returned the shoes for a correct size. Nothing came out of her pocket and most business have an account for damages and returns. Again the young lady responded " have a good night" while the shift lead or manager didn't respond as I walked out. The energy was very negative from her but a person must have customer service skills to actually work with the general public right? I am giving 4 stars for the manager K who I spoke to on the phone, for privacy and the young lady associate who was there on 6/26/26 around 8-830pm, but not for the other lady ZERO stars...Thank you! For your good customer service!

  Don’t bother coming in. I tried to return my online order since I thought it would be easier. The saleman took one look and said the shoes were damage—DAMAGE??? I have to be honest I worn it on to try at home just ONCE and have to take it right off because it makes my feet look like pig feet. Mind you below are the pictures I took of the shoes after my failed attempt to return it in store due to damage of the shoes… Is there any damages in the room with us? I walked out of the store at roughly 12:10-12:15. i even put the timeframe of when I took the photos is at 12:17. I tend to stay away from Steve Madden as they use other brand’s designs for their own, this time I ordered from them since the shipping time was convenient for what I need. Needless to say this will be my first and last time of buying from Steve Madden.

  I drove to Williamsburg thinking Steve Madden was there to realize it was in Norfolk. So I called the store to see if I could get it shipped and the last time me no. So as I was driving back home from Williamsburg I received a call from Amanda and she said we can ship them to you. I was soooooo excited and received them the next day(today). She blessed my whole soul and I’m so grateful for her calling me back. Amazing customer service!!!
