I've been shopping at DSW for 25 years and have never experienced an issue in my home state or any other state where I've shopped at DSW. I'm new to Virginia, and unfortunately, this experience left me feeling like my skin color was an issue. An employee followed me around the store while I shopped. He definitely got his exercise in because we took quite a few laps around that store. After 25 years as a DSW customer, I know the difference between being assisted and being watched. I don't give my money where I'm not wanted, and I won't be returning.

The associate helped me exchange it for a new pair and I even got some money back on the sale price that wasn't charged the first time. Happy to return here for some more shoes when I'm in the area.
