  Spent probably 30 minutes in here and it was hot. The air conditioning in this store is not good or either they don't have it turned down to a comfortable temperature. Otherwise, love this store but PLEASE do something about the AC. This is not a store I want to shop in during the summer when it's 90 degrees outside.

  I had a wonderful experience at Belk. Patty, in the women’s department, was absolutely one of the best customer service associates I have ever had. I had already spent a day in Richmond hoping to find something I liked thinking that a bigger city would have more options. However, I found it at Belk. Not just one option but a number to choose from. Patty was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to help me find something to wear for a special occasion. She took the time to understand what I was looking for ( I was not clear on what I wanted. I just knew I had not found it yet). She asked the right questions and gave me lots of options. Beyond grateful! Also, I noticed the great teamwork among team members. They helped each other. Very impressed. Thank you!

  I had a really disappointing experience with a staff member who I believe said her name was Sharna in fine jewelry though I can’t be sure since she wasn’t wearing a name tag. From the start, she came across as dismissive and uninterested in helping. When I asked for assistance, she gave vague answers and seemed irritated that I even approached her. What bothered me most was her attitude, which felt unwelcoming and, at times, discriminatory. The way she spoke to me compared to other customers didn’t sit right, and it left me feeling uncomfortable and disrespected. Customer service should be about making people feel valued and supported, but this interaction did the opposite. I hope management takes this kind of behavior seriously and ensures better training and accountability moving forward.

  I feel classy here or at least with the in croud I can buy my kids name brand at a decent price and find a beautiful diamond for my grandmother on sale under $100 bucks and it doesn't turn green!
