NEVER COMING BACK TO THIS STORE!
Had a terrible experience today due to the so-called manager on duty. He was rude, confrontational, dishonest, and highly unprofessional. He refused multiple times to identify himself, and no one in the store was wearing a name tag.
After reading other reviews, I noticed multiple complaints about this same individual, including a review with his photo, which I am also referencing here since he refuses accountability. Corporate should have no trouble identifying him.
This raises serious concerns about whether Tommy Hilfiger corporate has any control or oversight over its store personnel and customer treatment.

I had one of the most unprofessional and unpleasant retail experiences I’ve ever had at the Tommy Hilfiger Outlet in Leesburg, VA.
I went in today to return an item I purchased last week. I had the receipt and the physical card used for purchase. The associate who claimed to be the “manager on duty” (no name tag, refused multiple times to provide his name) refused the return, incorrectly stating that because I used Apple Pay, I must present my phone—despite having the same card in hand and a valid receipt.
His tone was rude, dismissive, and confrontational. He repeatedly talked over me, escalated the situation unnecessarily, and then accused me of lying when I questioned his explanation.
Within minutes, another manager stepped in and immediately processed the return with no issue, confirming that the first manager’s claim was completely incorrect. Afterward, he attempted to backtrack and falsely state that he had “already offered that option,” which was simply not true.
What made this worse:
• No employees were wearing name tags
• The manager on duty refused to identify himself
• He provided incorrect information, behaved disrespectfully, and then tried to rewrite what happened
This interaction alone has permanently turned me off from shopping at Tommy Hilfiger. Poor leadership like this actively drives customers away and damages the brand.
I strongly recommend corporate leadership review this store’s management practices and personnel. The manager was a South American male in his 30-40’s.
