  The only good thing about this store was Charlie for helping us out kinda! He tried earnestly though. We went through the process of buying a new boat and there was nothing but miscommunication between staff. We was told our boat was ready to picked up just to find out it wasn't "completely" after already in transit to get it. Issues from that 1. Its a 2 hr drive each way and we had already made a prior trip just to trade in our old boat. 2. We needed the additions on our boat for a beach camping trip that was already scheduled for the next day and supposed to be done (boat being READY Completely)! 3. We still have to make another trip back to cabellas to just get our boat hopefully completely finished after we drop it off at the end of our vacation. Charlie tried his darndest to help us by adding a preformance upgrade or anything else within reason. The only problem was the preformance upgrade i was going to go for We switched BECAUSE we was told another item ((depth finder) that was supposed to be included in the boat from factory) the boat didn't have it and so us needing that more for where we go prioritized that just to find out it does have one. Problem was after taking the boat for our first spin it didn't work 90% of the time!! Now that needs to be fixed and i should of just got the darn sound system upgrade.

  Went in for an exchange on a gift I got for store credit lady said we could definitely do that then when the old man came back after stopping our conversation to answer the phone he said nope can’t do that I need proof you bought it. Never been denied a return for store credit when they sell that exact item online and when the item was new with tags. How can I prove I bought it if I just said it was a gift. But anyways the problem is being told we could do it just for the man to have a power trip he wouldn’t even scan the item because “he’s never seen it” he doesn’t need to see it before it was an online order.

  Cabela's always has the best customer service and they've got such cool stores. I can't decide if the Gainesville location is better or one of the ones in North Carolina.. (Garner or Cary)but the Henrico store is on top of things. This is the only place I'll get my fishing rods and other stuff. The club deals are great, I'd look into becoming a member if I were you! Love that they sell moon pie.

  Sells junk fishing rods and won’t replace them when they break within a week. Won’t be back.

  I experienced a horrible manager tonight at Cabela’s in short pump Virginia she was extremely rude to me and so was the staff. I’ve been a lifelong member for years. I’ve also had five of their cards all capital one I simply walked in with an issue on my yeti coffee cup Tumblr, and she refused to help me and then on top of that when I told her I would be in in the morning to speak to the store manager, and I told her I was in my camper, parked out in the parking lot, which I’ve done for many years. It’s a stop off for me. She called the police on me and told them that I was trespassing and they came out and asked me to leave, which I did, but I will never walk into another Cabela’s or Bass Pro shop again and I plan on reaching out to corporate and telling them how their manager treated me her name, I would’ve expected a lot more from a manager than the way Susan treated me and her staff. It was closing time and they were rushing me and wanted to close the store and they treated me like crap and disregarded what I was trying to accomplish blowing me off in nice words so I’m gonna report to corporate on this matter and hopefully something will be done about it. It was unnecessary for them to call the police on me. I’ve stayed in their parking lot numerous times and there were other campers that night that were in the parking lot, but none of them were told to leave. I’m taking this right to corporate and every single person I run into. I’m gonna tell them my story how Cabela’s treated me in short pump, Virginia.
