  I'm never getting a reel filled with line at this location ever again. When I told the guy at the counter the line capacity and how much I wanted to add, he looked at me and said, "Let me find someone who knows what that means." That was the first sign I should have just left. Then he proceeded to overfill it by almost 150 yards, which I had to remove and cut off. He also put too much backing before the braid was added. I am extremely displeased with the experience and the knowledge of the workers handling a process they don't understand, even after having it explained to them how it should be done and how much should be filled by another employee.

  I ordered pickup at the store and they only had part of the order ready. I have to return for a few dollars of goods. Other than that, it's a great store and the staff knowledgeable and helpful.

  This place is the best! My man logan was awsome! He help me navigate the store, and informed me on any questions i had. He was more than epic! He deserves a raise! He got me to even apply for a credit card which i never do. I got finally talked into a sell for a .22. Awesome sell man! Thank you logan!

  I went to Bass Pro Shop yesterday to buy a new firearm. After waiting a long time at the counter, the employee told me the purchase was denied by state police. They said something with the way my name is spelled caused the automatic denial and gave me the state police phone number to call and find out why. I went to my car and called state police. They explained that the system automatically denies me because my name is spelled similarly to someone else’s. They told me to have the screen refreshed and it would show approved. I went back inside, redid all the paperwork from the start, but it was denied again. While still standing at the counter, I called state police a second time. They again said to refresh the screen. It finally showed approved. The supervisor then came over and told me I had to fill out the entire paperwork all over again from the beginning, even though the screen now showed approved. The exact same thing happened a third time while I was on the phone with state police. State police told me that if the store still wouldn’t let me purchase after it showed approved, I should just leave because the system is set to automatically deny due to the name spelling issue. The whole process took over 3 hours out of my already long and busy day. I was highly upset. I have bought several firearms in the past with no issues and currently own multiple guns. The employee and especially the supervisor showed zero efficiency or customer service. They made me restart the full paperwork multiple times instead of simply proceeding once the approval appeared on the screen. They completely failed to handle a clear system glitch. I do not recommend Bass Pro Shop for firearm purchases. The staff’s rigid, unhelpful process turned what should have been a straightforward transaction into a frustrating waste of time.
