  They are "very selective" and the times I have tried to sell are to dressy or the ware and tare on them is the excuse they always use. I believe they need to hire a new team and new management. I won't come back here again.

  this place is extremely terrible, i offered to sell jordan’s newly and they offered 7 dollars for jordan’s. they exploit and only use expensive stuff for their advantage and using more money for it. i also sold NEW clothes with tags, a few minutes later the email popped out saying its read, we came in and explicitly said how the clothes have holes in them when they had tags still on it? the lady lied saying there was holes in it infront of the manager. honestly terrible im never coming here again.

  Seriously just go to a different thrift store (UC) that’s right down the road; better deals with selling + they have so many more options in comparison to here. I brought in never-worn Italian dress pants ($60 worth) with the tag still on and they gave me $3.20 in return. While I understand that resale businesses need to make a profit, I felt the offer was disproportionately low for the quality that I brought in. Honestly just a big disappointment. Good to know to never come back and will be spreading the word xx

  Great service! The workers were very helpful and kind, and I found a lot of good stuff, all at a decent price.

  I was under the understanding that Platos Closet was a USED clothing store! I took a bin full of shoes and they didn't accept any of them. Sure, some were worn, and I could understand rejecting some that were a little more worn. But there were brand new, never been worn shoes, that they did not take. What a joke! They probably looked at one pair and that's all. When my husband tried to voice his concern over their methods, the staff was rude. Newsflash, used clothing has been worn before!
