  I visited Aerie around 7:30 pm on June 30, 2026, and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. When I walked into the store, no one greeted me. I was the only customer in the store at the time, yet neither employee acknowledged my presence. Instead, I overheard a younger blonde employee and an older brunette employee having a loud conversation about another employee, saying that person needed to be fired. I found it very unprofessional that this discussion was taking place openly while a customer was in the store. The younger blonde employee, in particular, came across as unfriendly and unwelcoming. I sincerely hope she is not a manager, as her demeanor did not reflect the level of professionalism I would expect from someone in a leadership role. I walked throughout the entire store multiple times, intentionally making myself visible to both employees, hoping someone would greet me or ask if I needed assistance. They both saw me several times, yet neither said “hello,” “welcome,” or “Can I help you find anything?” Instead, I received dirty looks while they continued discussing the employee they wanted to fire. I previously worked at Aerie, so I was especially surprised by this experience. When I was an employee, greeting every customer and offering assistance was a basic expectation and an important part of providing excellent customer service. By the time I left, I genuinely felt unwelcome, as though I wasn’t even worthy of being acknowledged. It was a very disappointing feeling. Before leaving, I took a photo of the employees because I did not know their names and wanted to accurately identify who was working during my visit. This experience fell far below the level of customer service I have always associated with Aerie. The lack of professionalism, poor customer service, and inappropriate conversation made me feel uncomfortable, and unfortunately, it has made me question whether I would return to this location.

  The store was very clean and well organized. The workers were very kind, one helped me out, I think her name was Samista (excuse the bad spelling), she knew exactly what I needed and even gave me good recommendations! She was also good at keeping the clearance section neat, which I've noticed is usually messy since the last time I was there, which was last May or so.

  The people were do nice and helpful and they allowed me to bring so many items into the dressing room which made my trip so much easier and faster
