Today I just can't deal with your prices, even the marked down clearance shoes are too expensive for me. Nowadays I walk in just to compare you with the guys a few yards away with the logo deals. If you dont do something soon the internet is gonna take out of business.

Upon reaching the register, the cashier spent an additional five minutes searching through the shoe boxes as if the merchandise had been switched. Although she claimed she was checking the sizes, it appeared she was acting under instructions received via walkie-talkie from another staff member who had been following us. The shoes in the box were exactly what was listed on the label, yet she still removed them entirely to inspect them. As a parent of young business owners in Chesapeake, I found this treatment to be biased and insulting. Singling out a Black family with unnecessary scrutiny creates a hostile shopping environment and puts undue stress on your employees. I plan to visit this location again to determine if this is a common store practice or if we were specifically targeted. Please be advised that I will document any future interactions. I hope you will take the necessary steps to ensure all customers are treated with respect and dignity.
