My daughter and I went to the store a day prior to my purchase. It was 4 o’clock in the afternoon and the store was locked up and closed. The next day I went into the Charlottesville store and met Destiny who traveled all the way from Manassas, Virginia to open the store and serve the Charlottesville customers. She did a fantastic job. Her dedication should be recognized.

Bought a pair of Rayban sunglasses from them, the coating on the lenses started to break down. Rayban offers a warranty on their products but if you bought them through a retailer they direct you to the retailer for warranty issues. I went in to see if there was anything that could be done, to my delight they said they would take care of it and ordered me a new pair of lenses and told me they would call me when they came in about a weeks time. A week passed by I stopped back by the store and asked if they had come in, to which they hadn't. No biggie, they can't control supply chain issues. Another week passes by and I still had not been called so I called the store instead of making a trip in. "Doug" answered the phone about 30 minutes after their opening time (10am) and I started to explain that I was waiting on a pair of lenses and I was not even able to finish my sentence before Doug informed me that he had just gotten to the store and usually doesn't work at that location and thus didn't know where anything was and that I would have to call back after 12pm. He sounded like he had a lot on his plate so I decided I'll check another time. Another week passes by and I stopped by the store at 1020am and find that they weren't even open and not answering the phones. As I was getting ready to be leave two employees came walking up to the store and unlocked it. I waited a few minutes out of courtesy and then tried to enter the store to find the doors still locked. The girls inside just mouthed "were not open yet". It is clear the store is struggling with internal issues and providing customers with services. I don't believe it's any one person's fault, but it does leave the customer in a bind for when you need things, which is why I would recommend just going directly through the manufacturer for buying sunglasses so you can deal with any issues yourself instead of having to involve a third party that is unavailable. The store is great for going in and trying on a pair of frames, but for your actual purchase, I would spend your money somewhere that you can control service issue processes yourself.

I purchased Ray-Bans here, and they unfortunately had a defective arm. The manager went above and beyond to resolve the problem. Great customer service.

Terrible service. Rude and didn’t even acknowledge you when you walk in the store. Would never shop there
