  Very nice store, organized and clean. Sales associate William was very kind. Only problem was that it is September and close to 100 degrees and high humidity and all summer clothing was packed away. Unable to purchase any short sleeved tops, shorts or dresses. 😥 We will return when we want fall and winter items.

  Went shopping in the shops of Stonefield with my daughters as we are staying in Charlottesville on vacation. We went into L.L.Bean and this skinny elderly gentleman was following us around. Now we did have shopping bags from other stores we had already went into and had purchased items there. I found this behavior very rude and offensive. It was as if to insinuate we were going to shoplift. We didn't catch his name, but employees should be trained better as to not to do this! It was because of his behavior we didn't buy anything and just left even though we were actually trying to look around! Please treat your customers better than this. You never know who exactly is shopping in your store! Especially people from out of town!
