Buying my first Rolex from Bucherer 1888 at Pentagon City was such an outstanding experience! Richard was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to walk me through almost the entire Rolex collection so I could make the best decision. I ended up with a watch I absolutely adore and couldn't be happier with my choice. The entire staff was welcoming, professional, and genuinely excited. If you're looking for a luxury watch, this is the place to go. I did a lot of research beforehand as I am local and I tell you this is the BEST choice as they have the widest variety of watches and they know how to treat clients.
Recently purchased an Omega Speedmaster from Bucherer 1888 at Pentagon City, and the experience exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome and never put any pressure on me. They answered every question I had, celebrated the purchase with me, and made sure the bracelet fit perfectly before I left. It's rare to find this level of professionalism and genuine customer service. I'll definitely be back for my next watch.

Just came here for the first time and although I just came here to try on some watches, their customer service was great and their sales associate, Miguel, was wonderful.. he sought me out after he saw me browsing while he was busy with a customer and gave me his undivided attention to show and talk about watches, even after I told him I was just looking and not buying today. When I do make my next big watch purchase, I’ll be coming here and will seek Miguel out to sell me my next watch.
I had an outstanding experience at Bucherer, and it was truly the best customer service I’ve ever received in a luxury retail setting. I had an appointment with Richard, and from the moment I arrived, he was professional, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable.
Richard took the time to explain the history of Rolex and walked me through the details of the specific model I was interested in. As I tried on different timepieces, he patiently answered every question I had, never once making me feel rushed or embarrassed for asking. His expertise, combined with his kindness and genuine enthusiasm, made the entire experience enjoyable and educational.
What stood out most was his honesty and transparency. He was upfront about the process and set realistic expectations, which I greatly appreciated. It’s refreshing to work with someone who values integrity as much as customer service.
This was a 10 out of 10 experience, and I left feeling informed, valued, and excited about my future Rolex purchase. Thank you, Richard, for providing such exceptional service. I highly recommend Bucherer to anyone looking for a first-class luxury watch buying experience.
I recently visited the Rolex store at Pentagon City to have two links removed from the bracelet of my new Rolex GMT II, and the experience was extremely disappointing.
When I arrived, there was only one employee on the sales floor assisting a customer while several other staff members appeared to be in the back. There were at least two customers waiting for assistance, yet we were left standing there for approximately 10 minutes before someone finally came out to help.
I requested that two links be removed from my watch. The associate took my watch, returned a few minutes later with the watch and the extra links, and then immediately disappeared before I even had a chance to confirm that the fit was correct. He never bothered to wait, check the fit, or ensure that I was satisfied with the adjustment.
This is not the level of service I expect from a retailer representing the Rolex brand. If I wanted this type of service, I could have purchased a Casio from a mall kiosk or Amazon. Rolex ownership is supposed to come with a premium customer experience, and this visit was anything but premium.
To make matters worse, I requested to speak with a manager. I was told to wait, so I did. After more than 10 additional minutes, no manager appeared and no one provided an update. It became clear that no one cared, so I eventually left.
I have visited many Rolex retailers around the world and have always been greeted professionally with a simple "Good morning" or "Good afternoon" and treated with courtesy and respect. At this store, there was no greeting, no attentiveness, and no concern for the customer experience.
This store needs significant improvement in customer service and employee training. The Rolex brand is built on excellence, professionalism, and attention to detail. Unfortunately, none of those qualities were evident during my visit.
Shame on the management for allowing this level of service to represent such a prestigious brand.
