This store is consistently way too hot! And they don't ever seem to have enough staff. No reason to keep the store that hot though - it's miserable to the point of causing illness. Not worth the time to try to find a good deal if you're going to be miserable the whole time and then have to track down someone to check out with any items you actually could find. Oh, and the dressing rooms are even hotter than the general areas in the store. Employees have fans on them, but that doesn't help the rest of us in the store. This needs to be fixed.

Drove an hour to check this Belk out since there’s not one in my town but was quite disappointed with the lack of accommodations for people visiting with children. For a store this large there’s no reason there shouldn’t be carts available with a child seat section, instead they just had 20 tiny buggies where you were not able to put a child in a seat. Not very welcoming and will not be back.

I give this store 2 stars because the women dressing rooms are too hot with no air circulation. I reported my concern last summer and was told yesterday it had been fixed but that was a lie. Even the cashier had a fan blowing on her, what does that tell you of the comfort level in the store. The stores has a good selection of clothes. The sale person was courteous and order for me a correct size not available in the store to be mailed to my home. Please let your corporate office this store is located in Texas and adjust the HVAC accordingly to be at a temperature to make the store comfortable to shop in. No one wants to feel like they will pass out trying on clothes or break out in a sweat like they ran a marathon.
