Beautiful store, just visiting TX but wanted to make sure to make it my business to find an AD in TX and the staff were very polite and knowledgeable. I would definately feel good shopping. Thanks for the experience.

Great experience with Thomas Markle Jewelers. Alex and Rachel have both been extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and great to work with. I’ve purchased my Tudor Royal and most recently my wedding band through them, and they have always taken the time to answer my questions and show me different options without ever making me feel rushed or pressured. I couldn’t be happier with the experience and would definitely recommend Thomas Markle Jewelers. I look forward to working with Alex and Rachel again in the future!

I love visiting the Thomas Merkel team, great professional service, the Merkle family knows their product and business. I've been a happy customer for over ten years. I take my hat off to this wonderful family and business.

My husband and I visited Thomas Markle Jewelers in The Woodlands today, and unfortunately, the experience was so disappointing that we walked out without making what would have been a significant purchase.
We were in the store for approximately 15-20 minutes. During that entire time, not a single associate approached us, welcomed us, asked if we needed assistance, or even acknowledged that we were there. Not once.
What made the experience even more frustrating was that we could see several associates who were not assisting anyone. We also watched other customers walk through the door and immediately receive attention and a warm welcome, including offers of the coffee/cocktail service the store provides. Meanwhile, we were treated as though we were completely invisible.
My husband was there specifically because he was interested in purchasing two TUDOR timepieces. We were genuinely considering making the purchases, and I was especially looking forward to seeing him try on the watch he wanted. Instead, after standing around for 15 minutes without so much as a “Welcome” or “May I help you?”, we decided to leave.
Before leaving, we asked to speak with a manager to explain what had happened, but the associate said they were “in the back” and that Saturdays are very busy. I understand that Saturdays can be busy, but that explanation doesn’t really address what we experienced. Being busy is understandable. Ignoring customers while other associates are standing around and simultaneously greeting other customers is not.
What is particularly unfortunate is that this wasn’t a situation where we came in just to browse casually. We were serious prospective customers who were prepared to purchase two luxury watches. They simply never gave us the opportunity.
Thomas Markle presents itself as a luxury jeweler and emphasizes an exceptional, relationship-driven customer experience (per their website). Unfortunately, our experience was the complete opposite.
We left feeling dismissed and invisible, and that is not how anyone should feel when walking into a luxury jewelry store; regardless of what you’re wearing, what you look like, or whether you’ve previously purchased from the store.
Thomas Markle Jewelers didn’t lose us because of price, selection, or the watches. They lost us because no one bothered to acknowledge us.
My husband deserved the opportunity to try on the watch he wanted, and we deserved the opportunity to be treated like valued customers. Sadly, we’ll be taking our business somewhere that actually wants it.

My wife and I came here a few weeks ago while we were visiting the Woodlands, and we had a truly incredible experience! We had an appointment with Elaine, who was very kind and welcoming! And then we sat down with Ruben, who was our amazing salesperson. He welcomed us with so much love, it felt as though we were connecting with an old friend. Ruben’s knowledge and expertise is too tier. He had an eye for beauty that was truly unmatched. His help and advise was much needed in picking out the perfect pieces for my wife. He never tried to push us to buy anything, and we could tell from the start that his only goal was to ensure that we had a wonderful experience, which we absolutely did! We originally came in before our lunch date at Flemings, but our time here was so much fun that we ended up rescheduling and just spending more time at the store. Mr. Thomas Markle himself was at the store, which was a true blessing to get to meet and talk with him. The story of his come up is very inspiring. Many times in life we only see someone’s destination, but we know little of their journey. To see where his business is now, from where he began, is very motivating for anyone out there chasing their dreams. He was very kind and encouraging! After watching how he treats his employees and customers, it’s no wonder why he’s so successful. It was a rainy day, and I made a comment about his rain jacket that had the Thomas Markle Jewelers logo on it, because it matched the colors that I was wearing, and he literally gave me the jacket off his back! I’ve worn it with pride a few times now in the weeks that passed, as it’s been a rainy season for us in Houston. We also had the pleasure of meeting and talking with Phil Markle, who welcomed us as well with open arms. We talked everything from sports, music, food, and of course jewelry. You can tell that the fine people at Thomas Markle Jewelers are really trying to build a relationship with their clients, rather than make a quick sale. This has become our new stop, to drop in, every time we’re in the Woodlands, even if it’s just to say hello to our new friends. Thanks again to Ruben for making our amazing experience unforgettable! I was in the airport recently and saw a sign for Thomas Markle Jewelers, and snapped a quick selfie! It was like I saw Mr Tom himself!
