    J crew approved my return request for an online item. I Tried to return it to the store and was denied by the manager due to no tag. I don’t really understand why they are policing the tags because it is an online item and their store is a vehicle to return it. This manager could have allowed the return but they decided not to for some reason. Waste of my time.

    If you go in here, be ready to be pressured to buy. Not a comfortable environment to be in. Associates are forced to approach you multiple times and it’s annoying. Things should be changed around there. Managers are also very rude.

    On Saturday, 6/6, we visited the store to look at some clothes. When we walked over to the jewelry display case, a young female associate immediately came over and started folding clothes on the counter. A few minutes later, I looked at her and noticed she had an unhappy expression—no smile, no greeting, nothing welcoming at all. We only tried on one bracelet and pointed at two pairs of earrings (without touching them), yet the associate stayed extremely close to us the entire time, as if she was monitoring us. She never spoke, never offered help, and made us feel like we were being watched in case we damaged or stole something. As long‑time J.Crew customers, we were shocked and disappointed by this level of disrespect. This experience felt insulting and far below the standard of service we’ve always known from J.Crew.

    I am a regular here. The store is well-kept, and the employees are great. They always greet you and are available to help. Be careful though: they are good sales people, and they will talk you into things!!! Ha. Love this place.
