- TTTheIllustratedManSep 2, 20262.0I Bought a electronic item yesterday [ 09/01/2026 ] and was told only to keep my receipt should it not work once I got it home & put new batteries into it. Ok I said. Low and behold, the purchase didn't work, so today [ 09/02/2026 ] I attempted to return it along with the original receipt . But since I had removed a sticker Goodwill had placed onto the items box, I was denied a return with no shortage of smugness on the store employees face and the Manager woman. Who inspite of my several other purchases showing on my receipt stood 'Vigilante' against the return of a defective item with a receipt, but their own 'store sticker' policy is a scam.
