- SLStephanie Perez LinkMay 5, 20261.0Went there to treat myself to a couple nice pairs of sunglasses before a big vacation and left feeling immensely disappointed. Nearly every pair of sunglasses had smudges on the lenses and caked on makeup on the nose pads from other people trying them on. It was disgusting and I didn't want to put them fully on my face, so many of them I didn’t bother with. When I looked around to find someone to open the case to see the more expensive pairs, there was no one around until I flagged down someone walking to the back. I could see her hesitation when I called out to her as if she were deciding whether to actually do her job or not. When I asked her if she could open the case, she looked around similar to that John Travolta/Pulp Fiction meme and walked around in circles for a few seconds like she was malfunctioning. After retrieving the key from behind the register area, she lifelessly stood by as I pointed out several pairs I wanted to see. When I picked out the pair I wanted, she walked to the register and handed them to the cashier who was only slightly more animated than she was. During the entire interaction, the salesperson didn't utter a single word. Not a "hi, how are you", "how can I help you", nothing. The cashier was required to ask me at least a couple questions otherwise I get the feeling she would have been the same. I was prepared to spend several hundred on a few pairs, but left with just one. Next time, I'll take my money to Nordstrom at La Cantera where they actually know how to treat a customer.
