The layout makes shopping simple, and the displays are neat and thoughtfully put together. Plenty of inventory across clothing and home goods. I personally didn’t find much that fit my style, but that’s more preference than a knock on the store. There’s still a wide selection, and others will likely have better luck. Staff were around but didn’t engage much. If you’re into deals, though, there were quite a few clearance racks—some marked up to 70% off. Decent store with good variety and strong discounts, just not the right fit for me this time.

It’s frustrating enough having to search the entire store just to find a fitting room, especially when staff are nowhere to be found to ask for help. I went to try on a dress and used the fitting room by the men’s section since it was the only one available. I locked the door, yet a man was still able to open it while I was changing. This should never happen. This was an extremely disappointing and uncomfortable experience. Fitting rooms need to be safe, private, and accessible. This was none of those. Immediate actions to be addressed: - Why the lock failed - Why women’s clothing requires using the men’s fitting room area - What will JC Penny do to ensure this doesn’t happen to another customer?
