  I hadn’t gone to this JC Penney at North Star in a while now but when I went I was very surprised how bad it was .. it smelled soo bad .. the quality of clothing selection has gone down .. hardly and selection.. the escalators were not working either .. don’t get me started with the restrooms smelly, dirty .. Even the elevators were not clean at all .. I couldn’t believe how bad it was .. and this was a Friday ..we will never go back!!

  Don’t use their curbside pickup because they take forever or won’t bring it to pickup. I waited for over 10 maybe 20 min and when I called the store no one picked up so now I have to come back another time to try to get my order.

  Esmeralda went above and beyond in helping my daughter find a dress that fit her. Rare to get real customer service these days . Ty Esmeralda!

  Actually awful customer service. Please do not purchase anything at this location. & I will be escalating this further to corporate. I went to pick up an order for my mom and was told I couldn’t unless she was present with me, which is a little outdated but that isn’t even where my issue comes from. I’m then told from the manager (short stubby woman brown hair) that if I wanted to pick up this order, my mom would have to call and allow it. I say okay and I then spend the next 5-10 minutes trying to get my mom to contact that store but shes a full-time teacher and cannot call nor make the commute to pick up the order herself because she is a single mother to a baby with a full time job and just does not have the time. I ask the cashier if that calling is the only way that I can get the item picked up and she says yes, to which I reply ‘how does that prevent fraud if any random person could call and pretend to be my mom?’ She says she’ll get the manager. I ask the manager ‘is calling the only solution?’ She says yes, I then ask again ‘how does this prevent fraud?’ And then she COMPLETELY back tracks and gaslights me into saying that she never said that and it must have been someone else??? But she just agreed a moment ago as well as the cashier with the pink hair. The manager then speaks to me very patronizing and offers zero solutions before walking off so I am forced to cancel the order (I can cancel somebody elses order, but I can’t pick it up for them?) So unprofessional, I am actually appalled.
