  My girlfriend and I went to the nearest Family Dollar by her house to run some errands. As we approached the aisle with the items we needed, a lady greeted us with a very rude and unwelcoming tone. She accused us of stealing merchandise the previous evening, claiming she had “photos of us on her phone.” When we asked to see these photos, she said her phone wasn’t with her and suggested we return the next day to speak with a manager. Since we’ve never visited this Family Dollar or any Family Dollar before, we decided to leave rather than argue. It was an unfortunate experience, and we didn’t feel good about having to go to another store.

  Complaint Regarding Service Animal Discrimination at Family Dollar My experience at this Family Dollar location was extremely disappointing. I have a service animal, and when I entered the store, the store manager, who identified himself as Juan, told me that my service dog was not allowed inside the store. I explained that my dog is a service animal and attempted to provide my service animal documentation, but my information was dismissed and I was still told that my dog could not be in the building. I felt that I was not treated fairly or respectfully. I understand that businesses have rules, but service animals are protected under federal law, and customers with disabilities should not be denied access because of their service animal. I have taken my service animal to many other locations without this issue, and this experience was unacceptable. If I could give this location and Family Dollar a negative rating, I would. I hope this matter is addressed and that employees receive proper training on how to handle situations involving service animals.

  This family dollar seems to be going down the drain. Yesterday they had issues with the register and now a lady I believe is a manager is working while she’s sick & locking the door on customers. I understand being sick and all that. If you need to lock up and go to the hospital or wherever do so and get ahold of the owner or somebody and let them know what’s going on. I hope whatever illness the lady has is not passed onto customers

  New to the SA location ,,, having stumbled across the Alamo C., was the most extraordinary & unique ancient restaurant I have ever walked into. You really don't know the place until u walk inside. From the outside, it's size doesn't reflect it's true identity from what lies inside. The running streem, the various sub parts of the sitting & dining areas. The outside sitting/eating area. This is the only true restaurant I have ever been in where there should be tour guides that walk visitors thru ( appt. Scheduled on line ) for tours and a light apitizer while being instructed as to the historic nature of the Cafe........ The food,! Is as well as different as the Cafe itself, very delightful........ The servers, cooks, & management; professional, courteous & respectful. Paul MINIX.
