  8/30/26 Update: I returned Merchandise that I bought last night because I did not feel comfortable spending money at a racist establishment. Well, of course a cashier that checked me out last night was rude and yelled at me. A new manager asked her to calm down, but she was not reprimanded. This cashier was tall, extremely heavyset, thin brown hair, acne and had glasses on(did not get her name). I mentioned about all of the negative reviews and they both threatened to kick me out of the store. I was told that you cannot return merchandise, even though I had the receipt and there was no statement about not doing the return on the receipt or on the website like they told me, they claimed it was a new policy that nobody knew about but yet they denied my return. None of it made sense. I’m not sure how this store is still open after all of these reviews and I’ll customer treatment. I did send two emails to corporate and was able to set a phone call with them. I will also be reporting them to the EEOC for discrimination. 8/29/26 There was a Hispanic woman with glass, I was told she was the manager. She was extremely rude, she blocked he merchandise so I couldn’t get to certain items even though I was shopping in that specific spot first! She rolled her eyes at me and had an attitude when I told her I couldn’t reach the merchandise! She rolled her eyes at all of the paintings that she was putting up that had black people in it. When I made my complaint I was told that this manager gets several complaints concerning her attitude! If you’re racist and hate your job find another one!!!! I will no longer be shopping at any Citi Trends since this is the type of service they are promoting!

  Destiny a employee started a altercation threatening to be physical over miscommunication and refusing to respectful so I had I got fed up real quick and gave her attitude right back . Her manager got on to her but she refused to listen and escalated it further 😳 7-926 8 pm

  Just left out of there to return a pair of shoes that I grabbed 2 days ago for a party but never put them on. The shoes still had the tags and original zip ties and strings still on it. The manager Sandy tells me they were worn because there was black stuff on the bottom and a scuff on the side. Mind you all the shoes on their rack had the same black marks at the bottom and scuffs on the side I’m guessing from ppl trying them on in the store. Idk. Even after showing her all the shoes were like that she still proceeds to tell me that I wore them like I have a reason to lie about their cheap quality shoes. She was very rude and did not try to help me at all. As soon as she heard I wanted a refund instead of a store credit she found a reason to not refund my money. I literally never go in there to shop because they have nothing to offer but it was the quickest thing to run and grab shoes in a hurry. I will be calling corporate to report. Idc if the shoes were $2 I needed my money back like I asked for. And reading other reviews she seems to be nasty to black ppl on a regular basis. Do not buy anything from here and expect to take it back for any reason!!
