  This review is just for selling clothes. Wait time was about an hour (which I didn’t expect there to be a wait time). I tried calling the store after I got my text that the clothes were processed, but they told me they can’t give me any status on it over the phone and I would have to come in person to find out what I would get. I got to the store and they told me that I wouldn’t get ANYTHING for it. A good chunk of my clothes are brands you’d find in the mall too. They told me that they were looking for specific items but if that was the case they should’ve at least glanced over my items first or told me before accepting them (I had everything folded in an open box). Honestly a part of me was wondering if they even got to my box because when I got there, they looked confused and couldn’t find me in the system and I got asked multiple times if I brought my clothes in today (which I did). It was a huge waste of my time, driving back and forth twice in a day when I’m already stressed out from moving in a few days. Honestly, I probably won’t ever shop at any Plato’s again just from the lack of communication. But again, this is just my experience. Hopefully if y’all sell here, it’ll be better for you

  I went to go sell some clothes that were on their website and they only selected a few items only very selective I would call before you go to see what they're accepting more of

  Store is super clean but I wish they would places XS/S clothes on lower hanger racks !! They’re all hung up on the highest unreachable places for petites and I can never shop for my size

  The quality of this Plato’s has continued to go down over the last few years, in both quality of workers and trade potential. The females that are working behind the counter most of the time, do not seem friendly, I don’t know if it’s from overwork or what, but they always seem besides themselves and too in there own world to greet you properly or help you when you come in. They’ll just let you stand there for a good while before they decide to help, not sure if other men feel the same way, it’s just the vibe I notice changes between how they treat and communicate with women who come in the store versus myself as a man. Two, this place needs to wake up when it comes to pricing brought in items and why they choose to reject items. All my clothes are typically well known name brands, my hauls have included bringing them pacsun, American eagle, hollister, Nike, zumiez, etc. All my clothes are clean and stay on hangers, nothing folded yet they say my items are rejected “because of the condition or quality”, as well as making offers on jeans that would resell for $30 and offering me $3 for them. NO THANK YOU. If you want to be scammed professionally, trade with Plato’s Closet. You’re better off going to Uptown Cheapskate maybe with your stuff, or posting it on DePop. Probably the last time I will attempt to trade items with Plato’s Closet, ESPECIALLY this location. Truly a disappointing experience everytime.

  I’d leave zero stars if I could. When I was in line to pick up my clothes I overheard the staff whispering and laughing to each other about how they weren’t going to give me an offer. They kept staring at not only me but other shoppers, and genuinely just felt like mean girls. Super weird rude high school energy at this location. Went to the another Platos today with the same clothes bin and got a good offer. Go to any other location you’ll get better offers and a better selection of clothes.
