Pamela the manager said she couldn’t take my id because it was expired but for the past two days I was coming back to back to bring in clothes with no problem with the id I had. Understand that it wasn’t her that dealt with me. But the 2 Dana’s that work here took my id with no problem & it went smooth. My husband came in to show id but still used my number for the clothes what was the point of using his id & my number? & I told her that it’s bad that it was okay those other two days but today yall decided to notice & it should be addressed with the other employees. She didn’t reassure me that she was sorry for the miscommunication. Plus she said this is her shift & she will not be able to do it. Instead of addressing the situation which the girl that did it first was working with her. So I asked for the two girls names that did deal with me. I asked who the manager was & she said she was & obviously doesn’t look good when nobody is taking accountability of what happened all I kept hearing is i don’t know I don’t know ?! But that’s what happened be aware of the id situation.

I've had bins full of gently used and almost new clothing turned away for whatever reason, then you do a walk around the store and see stained, and torn clothing which I found interesting. Also a pair of mens pants that I sold to them during a prior visit are marked ABOVE the original price. Overall this place is pretty sad and pathetic. Please see photos.

This is the first store where I've found great used clothing. Not just in the store itself, but in every department, especially the shoe and accessories section, which is very well organized. They have excellent prices for the variety and quality of the clothing. I give it a 10/10 for organization, quality, price, and the service from all the staff.

I rated this store a 1 star because that was the lowest. Online for this store it says 90% off September 18-20 but when I went to check out it was 70% so I showed the girl in charge and she was so RUDE. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT THIS STORE AGAIN.

If you’re considering selling items at this Plato’s Closet location, I’d recommend reading this review first. I'd like to note that my review is based solely on my experience attempting to sell items, not on shopping at the store.
I spent over 40 minutes at this location trying to sell a large tote full of clothes and shoes. In the end, they only offered me $8 total for two items - a pair of American Eagle jeans and a pair of snakeskin booties, both in like-new condition.
When I initially submitted my items around 2:00 PM, I was told that if I stayed in the store, my items would be prioritized and the process would take approximately 15–20 minutes. However, if I left, I was told my items would continue to be bumped to the bottom of the list, there would be no estimated completion time, and I would likely not receive a text until later that evening to come and collect my items.
After waiting about 35 minutes, I finally approached the counter to ask for an update. It was only then that my ticket was processed and I was given an offer. Even after that, I had to wait another five minutes before everything was completed.
In my opinion, the process felt unnecessarily drawn out. It's clearly designed to encourage customers to browse the store, with hopes that all of the money/offer stays in house. Smart marketing tactic on their part, but an inconvenience for customers.
If you’re looking to resell clothing items, I recommend trying a platform like Poshmark instead, where you have more control over pricing and aren’t left waiting around for an offer that may be far below what you expected.
