  This is one of several locations in the DFW area and a great place to find books, DVD's, tapes of all genres. They have quite a substantial and esoteric collection. The sections are clearly labeled and the books themselves are organized by authors' last name.

  My wife and daughter always find a bunch of books for really cheap. I'm a vinyl record collector, and they always have a good selection of used records at a reasonable price.

  Love this HPB location! They have a great selection even though it’s a smaller store, and they are efficient at reviewing books I’ve brought in to sell. The staff is always kind and helpful. Most of my best and most reasonably priced purchases have come from this location in McKinney. Highly recommend!

  I love HPB, and this location always has great markdowns and the friendliest of employees. Highly recommend for hunters of physical media!

  This is my go to bookstore. Over half the books I have on my shelves are from here. The staff is nice and helpful, and every time I come here I end up finding what I want and more! Heck there's even a really good gaming section here 😆 I've found old PSP games that work flawlessly, old Quake Disks, and even Battlefield games. There are tons of movies that work well, from Alien films to old classics and modern films. The Sci Fi collection is great and I've always found good reads here. I do have one slight complaint, but it's very minor, I usually look for my favorite authors when I arrive, but most of the time that authors books have relocated somewhere else entirely. Originally Michael Crichton was in Sci Fi (which I consider his books to be) but then those books were moved to mystery (Jurassic Park is not a mystery 🙃) and then to Fiction. It's not a super big issue, but it is slightly confusing. Overall a great location. I'll be going here for a very long time.
