  I am **extremely disappointed and honestly hurt** by my recent experience with Citi Trends. I have been using their layaway service for **years** and have always been able to make my payments and pick up my children’s clothes right before school with no issues. This time, I was told that the layaway had to be paid by a certain point or it would be canceled if two payments were missed. **I had not even reached the second payment due date**, yet my entire layaway was canceled **a week after my first payment** because I was unable to make that payment on time. What makes this even more upsetting is that **I received no phone call, no text, and no warning that my layaway was being canceled.** We spent a lot of time going through clothes, picking out outfits, and finding the correct sizes for my children. All of that time and effort was for nothing because the items were simply put back on the racks. My children are supposed to start school **Monday**, so you can imagine how upset and stressed I am right now. As a mother, I was counting on those clothes being there for my kids, especially since I have used Citi Trends layaway for years without this kind of problem. I understand policies are policies, but **customer service and communication matter too**. If my layaway was going to be canceled, I should have at least received a call or notification so I could have had an opportunity to fix the situation. I am **very disappointed with Citi Trends** and the way this was handled. After being a loyal customer for years, this experience has definitely changed the way I feel about shopping with them. 💔 I hope management sees this and looks into how these layaways are being handled because customers deserve better communication and consideration.

  I ENJOY SHOPPING HERE BUT I DONT LIKE I CANT TRY ON MY FINDS. YOU HAVE TO BUY AND RETURN AND THATS DIFFICULT WHEN U LIVE 30 MINS AWAY. PLEASE OPEN THE DRESSING ROOMS ALREADY!!
