- JBJennifer BordersApr 24, 20241.0I have been taking my car to get serviced at this company now for the past 3-4 months now and every month after my service date about 4 days after it says EXPIRED AGAIN I only go there bc it’s the closest one to me but when I go back the man who works there’s says well idk what’s wrong with it if you don’t like what I am doing go somewhere else. So today I toke my car to San Antonio and they told me Kerrville has been doing it wrong this whole time. They have been charging me but NOT doing it right so today I had to pay almost $300.00 after just getting it inspected last week. I will not recommend you taking your vehicle to Kerrville to get inspected very disappointed with this company

How does an Interlock Device work?
When you blow into your Ignition Interlock Device, you're providing a breath test sample in order to start the vehicle. The device then measures your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC), and will either say that you passed, need to retest, or failed. You will be asked to take rolling retests throughout your drive.
What can breathalyzers detect?
Breathalyzers only measure your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC).
Is an Ignition Interlock the same as a breathalyzer?
Ignition Interlock and handheld breathalyzers both test your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC), but an Ignition Interlock Device is only installed in vehicles and prevents the car from starting if there is alcohol detected. A handheld breathalyzer only detects alcohol and may tell you the concentration.
