  The prices to buy books are great and I like the occasional game section! Wish there was a Spanish section, children or adult.

  This place is a scam. I understand that their buy prices are low so they can turn a profit by selling their wares for cheap, but this does not mean they buy your stuff for any reasonable prices. I sold them a text book that cost 100$ at retail and they gave me 66¢ for it. It was brand new and still sealed in the plastic. What’s worse is that the books in there, while cheap yes, if they are bought at the prices you sell them for, means that they’re making like 95% profit. Now way you should buy a book for 66¢ that you’re gonna sell for 15$. That’s a joke. There are other easy ways to sell your books and games and things that aren’t half priced books. Do NOT sell your books here if you need the money.

  This is a pretty cool place to visit. Everything is clean and very well organized! They offer books, dvds, audiobooks, and some collectibles. We bought some books and dvds that we are happy to add to our collection. This place allows you to sell books too. It's a good bookstore overall. The reason I'm giving it a 3 star is for two reasons. First, looking through the kids section, I found that a lot of the pages in the toddler books were bent or completely torn or ruined. I found a "peek-a-boo" book that had 1 of the pages completely ruined. They wanted approx $7 for it and when I asked about part of the book unusable, they very kindly said all prices are final. I just found it weird selling a book that wasn't all intact for a higher price than expected when buying it new was a couple dollars extra. Second, most books I was looking at were priced either equivalent to buying a new copy online or sometimes priced higher. I just assumed that a book store called "Half Price Books" would have better pricing. Overall, besides some very minor things, its a great store that is fun to shop at! Recommend going to shop there!
