  This place is weird… came in at 5pm on a Saturday and they were already locking us in the store when we just stepped in (they close at 8 btw). The older lady (I’m assuming was the manager) was very off putting and obviously wanted us to finish up quickly. Whenever we wanted to try on a pair and was practically snatching the glasses out of our hands to clean them. I guess she was annoyed that she had to keep cleaning them. The younger employee was fine and I could tell he felt bad because the lady was acting so impatient.

  One of the employees working there she’s so sweet pretty petite long black hair. Was exceptional! I might have forgot her name but il never forget her face. Il make sure to send her all business moving forward.she was phenomenal and extremely helpful.

  This location has a great selection and the best staff! Carol and Lily were incredibly helpful. I only go to the Rice Village for them! I had a super bad day and they made it so much better. My glasses are fixed and I’m so happy! Best team ever.

  My wife and I had an extremely frustrating experience at this Sunglass Hut location. We purchased a pair of sunglasses through the store using their online ordering portal. When the glasses arrived, they already had a scratch on them, so we brought them back to the store immediately to return them. The glasses were never worn or used. Instead of helping resolve the issue, the employee refused to accept the return because the glasses were scratched and told us they could not take them back because they "couldn't resell them." That response was incredibly frustrating considering the scratch was the entire reason we were returning them in the first place. Even worse, the interaction made us feel as though we were being accused of damaging the glasses ourselves. If a customer orders a product through your store, receives it damaged, and immediately brings it back unused, the customer should not be stuck with the product because the store says it can no longer resell it. How is the customer supposed to prove that an item arrived damaged? This is terrible customer service and a policy that seriously needs to be reconsidered. Based on this experience, I would absolutely not recommend ordering sunglasses through this store's online ordering service. You have no idea what condition the glasses will arrive in, and apparently, if they arrive damaged, you may then be blamed for the damage and refused a return. Sunglass Hut needs to seriously reevaluate both its damaged-item return process and how employees handle customers who receive defective merchandise. This experience was completely unacceptable.
