  You are better off taking your clothes to Goodwill and not getting any money at all. I took two large trash bags up there clothes and only received three dollars for one item.

  Very disappointing experience selling at Plato’s Closet. I brought in 100+ items, and although I was told the wait would be around 30 minutes, my items were supposedly reviewed in less than five minutes. The entire process felt extremely rushed, and I honestly don’t feel like my clothing was properly looked through or evaluated. When I received my items back, it appeared that everything was essentially in the same condition and order as when I brought it in. After taking the time to gather, transport, and wait with over 100 pieces of clothing, having the entire process handled so quickly felt like a complete waste of my time. I also found it uncomfortable that a male employee was the one handling and evaluating the women’s clothing. While I understand that employees can evaluate merchandise regardless of gender, I personally would have felt much more comfortable having a female employee inspect women’s clothing, especially when the process was so brief. Overall, this was the worst experience I’ve had selling clothing at Plato’s Closet. I expected my items to at least be properly examined and considered before being turned away. I hope management takes feedback like this seriously and makes sure customers bringing in large amounts of merchandise are given a fair and thorough evaluation.

  I waited an hour and 30 minutes for them just to take 4 out of 8 clothes I brought, which was 3 expensive pants and a Puerto Rico shirt that was trendy . For those 4 things I only received 18 dollors. For waiting that long just for that is ridiculous. It was my first and last time going there because of their customer service and attitude a young girl employee had and also not letting me know before hand about the police’s of bringing in clothes with a bag or container when they should have when I called them before hand . Don’t waste your time there. Cheapskate is much better with everything, price, time , and customer service.
