- DDDesireeAug 16, 20261.0I went to the Galleria location to return a beauty product that I had originally ordered for pickup. I was dissatisfied with the product and attempted to return it. Instead of simply asking me about the condition of the item, the cashier took it away from the register to another area to inspect it with a manager. After approximately five minutes, she returned and told me I could not return it at that location because it appeared to have been used, then proceeded to explain their findings. I responded, “Yes, it was used, and I would have told you that had you asked.” She had no response. What made the situation even more inappropriate was that the manager apparently made this determination but left a younger employee to relay the message rather than speaking with me directly. The entire interaction felt presumptive, disrespectful, and intentionally handled in a way that made me feel singled out. This level of customer service is completely unacceptable, particularly from a company of Nordstrom’s size and reputation. I expected to be treated like a customer—not treated with suspicion before anyone even bothered to ask me a question. I would strongly urge people of color to be hesitant of this location.

They are located in a very busy area although there is a massive amount of parking in the shopping center if you get to the park close by consider yourself lucky.
