  This is a great thrift store. The only thing I did not like was they played their music too loud. Not just the volume. It was to loud for their music system. It sounded terrible.

  Tons of clothes, good filter of donations. Lots of sofas and couches, a recliner is the luck of the draw. I got for 40 bucks a huge/wide recliner, seemed brand new (maybe a display at a furniture store). Once got a sling bag I still use today, and a nice chargeable light/lamp. Like all retail stores, sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you don't. But you only know or have that chance if you go!

  Last week was my first time in Deseret industries here. I liked the store and the helpful associates in this store. I enjoyed it so much that I returned today on my day off. While waiting for them to unlock their doors we had a man (who I was told was the manager with the name tag “Siona”) come to the door, then laugh at us customers waiting outside and acted like he was going to unlock the doors but instead turned his back to us and walked away. Almost as if mocking us customers. I couldn’t believe this man treated their customers like this. A few customers (who I’m told are regulars) said he does this often to them and others. I AM SHOCKED at this behavior coming from this man and this business that keeps on allowing this to happen. This is no way to treat ANY customer. I want to make others aware of this kind of behavior happening here. I will visit once again but next time will not keep my mouth shut. This is not how you train your managers and something needs to be done. Please speak to your mangers and make sure it doesn’t happen again. I will NOT tolerate managers to keep on being disrespectful to their loyal customers.

  Excellent deals. Good quality merchandise. I love that they have a work program and train people who might otherwise have difficulty finding a job. They give them training and experience so they can move on to bigger and better things.
