  ⭐️ 1-Star Review — Extremely Disappointing Experience I had a very frustrating experience at American Eagle in Memorial Mall, especially with Manager Elizabeth. I originally purchased an item but was unable to try it on because the fitting room line was extremely long. I came back to the store to exchange it, expecting a simple and reasonable solution since I had never even had the opportunity to properly try it on. Unfortunately, instead of feeling helped, I felt dismissed and frustrated during my interaction with Manager Elizabeth. The whole situation could have been handled with much better customer service and understanding. I understand that stores have policies, but customer service and common sense matter too. I was trying to exchange an item because I couldn’t try it on during my original visit due to the extremely long fitting-room line. Very disappointing experience. I expected much better from American Eagle and especially from a manager. I hope corporate takes this feedback seriously.

  1-Star Review I had a very disappointing experience at American Eagle while picking up an online order. I was waiting in line behind another customer when a couple walked up behind me. I was briefly on my phone, and I overheard the man say something along the lines of, “Let’s just cut him.” I didn’t respond because I couldn’t believe someone would actually do that. When the next associate called for the next customer, the couple walked in front of me. I immediately said, “No, I’m next.” Instead of acknowledging what happened, the couple argued with me, made insulting and passive-aggressive comments, and continued to insist they belonged in front of me. What disappointed me the most was how the situation was handled by the staff. Rather than addressing the customers who cut in line, I was asked to step aside. Security and even a police officer were called, and I was the one being questioned. Meanwhile, the couple refused to provide their names and were escorted out for their own protection, despite my being the person who felt wronged. I repeatedly requested that management review the store’s surveillance footage because I believe it would clearly show what happened. My goal has always been to have the camera footage reviewed so the situation could be handled fairly. Instead, I left feeling dismissed, embarrassed, and unsupported. As a customer, I expected staff to investigate the situation impartially before treating me as if I were the problem. This experience has left me extremely disappointed with the customer service and conflict resolution at this location. I hope management reviews the security footage, investigates this incident thoroughly, and provides additional training to employees on how to handle customer disputes fairly and professionally.

  I had a very disappointing experience at this store on Father's Day. The cashier did not explain any of the available discounts, so I was left unsure whether I received all the savings I was eligible for. I purchased three pairs of pants and asked for a second bag because one of them was a gift. Instead of helping in a courteous manner, she simply tossed the bag onto the counter, which I found unprofessional and rude. In addition, during my entire shopping trip, not a single employee approached me to ask if I needed assistance. While checking out, the cashier seemed more focused on chatting with her coworker than providing good customer service. I expected a much higher level of professionalism and customer care from this store. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression. ★☆☆☆☆
