  I was completely ignored on both occasions I tried to purchase a firearm, I ended up purchasing from Academy instead. Both times I waited AT the gun counter, with staff moving all around speaking to everyone else, for over 30 minutes before giving up & leaving. I love the actual physical store & the products but MAN my lack of customer service when I fully intended on making 2 decent purchases. Obviously they’re no $100k boats but guns are good money. I had a very similar experience while looking at optics but someone offered assistance as I was walking away & seemed to almost immediately regret it as he acted mad that he even asked. Y’all got lucky on that purchase because I was headed to academy for that too. Which I probably should’ve done instead of giving him the sale, since he seemed so aggravated about it.

  These guys in archery are great. Very knowledgeable and helpful. They helped me restring my son’s bow and help me pick out a new one. Highly recommend Richard or Nathan.

  Horrible experience !!check online to see if bow range was available before driving 45 minutes to get there .When I got there I had to wait 10 minutes to check in to bow range then was told would have to wait another 20 to 30 minutes so someone could be there. While 3 guys stood around close in the gun barg hangout guess just watching me wait. I just have to leave and go somewhere else.

  I had an excellent experience at the Bass Pro Shops in Grapevine, and I especially want to recognize Chaffy for going above and beyond. I came in planning to purchase several firearms. I had a general idea of what I wanted, but I quickly realized there was a lot I didn’t know and several things I hadn’t considered when choosing the right options for my needs. Chaffy was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely helpful. He spent a significant amount of time showing me the different options I was interested in, answering all of my questions, and, most importantly, giving me his own recommendations based on what I was actually looking for—not just trying to sell me the most expensive products. Chaffy absolutely deserves to be recognized for going above and beyond. This is exactly the kind of customer service that makes you want to come back to a store. Bass Pro Shops is lucky to have him on the team, and I’ll definitely be returning to the Grapevine location because of this experience.

  I took my boat to have annual service done. I was very surprised when it was done completed early. The tech who did the work was Drew. I thought I had a network issue unrelated to the service. Drew worked with me and diagnosed the issue promptly. I will definitely be coming back with any maintenance work I need done in the future!!
