  One of my favorite stores! I like it so much I would actually consider working there after I retire from my business! Why one star, because of the terrible customer service! I find it interesting that I have received terrible customer service at several locations in both California and Texas! Apparently they don't bother to greet you at the gun counter within 30 minutes of closing or if you haven't registered your place in line! Absolutely pathetic courtesy and just bad manners! They could acknowledge your presence and suggest you register/sign in if you needed additional information on a firearm!

  I normally don’t do reviews but this time I had to Tuesday 9/15/2026 around 6:30-7pm Employee I believe his name was Johnson T I went into Bass Pro Shops with my son, knowing absolutely nothing about fishing, and honestly, I wasn’t sure where to even start. We were lucky enough to get help from an employee who went way above and beyond. He helped me spool our reels, but he didn’t stop there. I had already looked online and picked out some things I thought we needed, and he took the time to explain that some of what I had chosen wasn’t right for what we were trying to do. What I really appreciated was that he never tried to upsell me. He showed me what I actually needed and then gave me the option of going with more expensive equipment if I wanted to. He also took the time to show me how to put everything together, how to use it, and even how to properly care for our bait. But what really stood out to me was how patient he was with my 5-year-old son. He walked around the store with us, answered all of our questions, and even helped my son overcome his anxiety about handling live bait. He could have easily just spooled our reels and sent us on our way, but instead he took the time to teach us and make the experience fun for both of us. That meant a lot to me as a dad. I was honestly planning on just ordering everything from Amazon, but after this experience, I’ll be coming back to Bass Pro Shops again and again. Great customer service like this is exactly why shopping in person still matters. Thank you for taking the time to make our first fishing experience such a great one! 🎣

  Just bought a brand new bow from here in store experience was ok took a little long didn’t get to have my bow measured or anything have to reschedule got home and wanted to see how she felt and on the first draw back the D- loop failed and sent my arrow luckily it failed at the start of the draw back and not further into the draw back.over all easy fix no catastrophic Damage and nobody got hurt!
