Thank you for a quick trip! She found the Bible she wanted and got her name engraved all in under 20 minutes.

My sister and I shopped at Mardel's last week and were very disappointed by the misleading pricing on the pamphlets and booklets on the rounders. They were marked 40% off, but the pricing wasn't clearly explained. The price tag had two prices Market (in tiny font, not noticable unless told to look for it) and Mardel's visible in larger font. One would think that the Mardel's price would be 40% off. Everything else was marked clearly, so we had no reason to think these would be different. It felt deceptive. When we checked out it was explained that we need to read the small print for those items. As a Christian store, we expected more honesty and transparency. I would hate for a new Christian to experience this practice. We have both shopped here for years and collectively spent over $350 this trip. This deception left a bad taste and neither of us will shop Mardel's again for a long time. We will also inform our Christian friends of this experience. We didn't expect this from a Christian store.

I have been a longtime Mardel customer, which is why I was particularly disappointed by my recent experience with the store’s book promotion. The signage in the store clearly stated that all books were 40% off. Based on that promotion, I filled my cart with quite a few books for my grandchildren. However, when I reached the checkout, I was told that I needed to “read the small print” because the regular green price marked on the books was actually the already-discounted half-price amount. I understand that promotions may have terms and exclusions, but I believe pricing and promotional signage should be clear and transparent to customers—especially when the advertised discount can be interpreted very differently at checkout. As a longtime customer, I expected better from Mardel, particularly as a Christian bookstore. I hope the company will reconsider how these promotions are presented so customers can shop with confidence and without feeling misled. Please Do Better, Mardels.
